He couldn't even pretend his hapiness here! LOL
Delulu time of the day is back!! The discussion topic is about our infamous Hyde! LOL
I've already said here that I really think there's something in the air about the Hyde -I don't know if it's the correct word but there you go- likes Wednesday somehow. There are some fragments that made me realize that and then I'm going to share. BUT ONCE AGAIN: THIS IS A THEORY!!!!!!! MY OPINION AND ANALYSIS THROUGHOUT THE SHOW.
I guess up to the episode 3, Tyler didn't remember or couldn't handle the Hyde properly. So my guesses are based until episode 3 but I'll use some examples from other episodes.
1- The hyde SAVED Wednesday from the attack of Rowan. Tyler didn't even remember what had happened the night before. He was in the woods stalking his father to check things up or hide eventual proofs from the monster's attack. SO that confirms that Laurel didn't order him to kill Rowan. He made Wednesday tell him exatcly what happenned and he looked surprised. I don't believe he was lying even though he was nervous. So the Hyde acted instinctively in order to protect Wednesday? Why? Once Tyler didn't know who Wednesday was for Laurel's plan.
2- Then Wednesday went to an unsafe place, according to Tyler, and found a man who threatened her. She had a vision and she thought it was the man, BUT NO!!!! The hyde was stalking her and HE DIDN'T ATTACK HER!! in fact he has a frightened and soft stare ? The monster went there to check if she was okay? hmmmmmmm He probably saw her laid on the floor and waited to her wake up to leave? At night, THE SAME MAN WHO THREATENED WEDNESDAY was the his victim. The monster killed another man who threatened Wednesday. HMMMMMMMMMMMMM And Tyler was clever enough to use this man to collect a body part for Laurel so she won't suspect anything about Wednesday.
3 -I keep telling you this BUT I DO BELIEVE that line ' I knew there was a reason I liked you' was said by the Hyde and not Tyler. If we analyse better, we can see when Wednesday confronted him about Xavier's assault, he got pissed and maybe that triggered the Hyde in order to manipulate the situation one more time. I mean Tyler has anger issues and it benefits the Hyde emergence. When he sits, he is already different! His stare is deep and dark. He also has seductive stare! I'm sorry but Tyler has puppy eye! I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE! LOL and the most important: his voice was snarky and husky. He has a low tone. It was not Tyler!!! (There will be a video for you to see what I'm talking about).
4 - THE DATE! Ok, since episode 4, the Hyde was more present. At the beginning of their perfect date, Tyler was there. BUT when he decided to confess his feelings and they had that small banter, it was not Tyler. THE EYES WERE DIFFERENT! Whenever the Hyde is out, Tyler has a deep and dark stare. I don't how to explain exactly, but there is a sort of dark fog in his eyes. I know that Tyler wanted to kiss Wednesday, but why does the Hyde have to come out as well? Maybe Tyler needed some confidence from the Hyde to try something else with Wednesday? Probably! And maybe Wednesday wanted to kiss him because she saw or/and felt something different through the darkness of his eyes? Definitely! And he only shifted to Tyler again when they were interrupted by his father!!! So yes, the Hyde wanted to kiss her as well.
5- With the help of my friend @weylerforever, we found out that in the scene of 'Kind of a déjà vu thing we got going on, huh?' we have the same voice and stare from episode 4. THE SAME! Even the shadow on his face is the same! (check the video below).
Well, what I'm trying to say that MAYBE, IN MY OPINION, MY PERSONAL BELIEF, is that the Hyde KNEW since the beginning about their connection. THAT explains why he protected and saved Wednesday from Rowan and never attacked when he had the opportunity (the original Pilgrim House). I mean she was a potential prey to him when he attacked Rowan. It would have had more sense if he had attacked her than had saved her. BUT HE CHOSE TO PROTECT HER ?? WHY?? And no, it was not because of Laurel's plan because he didn't know about it! He was about to head her to the train station some minutes ago. He would have helped her to escape for sure.
I'm not talking about a romantic connection here because I don't want to be biased LOL I'm serious! I don't want to lead to this discussion because I don't even know if the Hyde might have good feelings. I believe that maybe the Hyde sees her as a potential Master!!!???? Because I don't know how to explain that behaviour as well.
Well the only person (?) who can answer this question is the Hyde himself. And I hope we had scenes with him on S2.
The chances of my theory are correct are 0, but it's been on my mind for a while. I need to get it off my chest! So tell me, Cockroaches.... Am I delulu and I need some break from my Weyler obssession? Or does it make sense to you?
Those who say Tyler is the villain in Wednesday series... Open your eyes and see this read this!! Like seriously he's the main Male protagonist alongside Jenna's Wednesday ... He's the second most important character in the series... And those who says he will going to die .... In your dreams baby!! ,💋😏
Finalmente os refrescos!!!!
Here you go: the male protagonist. It is what it is.
You guys really have to force this narrative! But with me, this is not gonna happen!
We have SCENES where he genuinely smiles alone after talking to her or something like that.
Oh but he said he liked killing... Have you ever watched the show? Have you ever realized he was possessed by the Hyde when he said that? Have you ever realized he was on the verge of crying after the revelation? We don't know the dimension of his corruption or his Hyde, but on the show it's said that the Hyde becomes the willing instrument of whatever nefarious agenda this new master might propose.
OH let me save you some time, Wednesday was not furious because he killed some people (AND PLEASE, he didn't kill Eugene on purpose because he was Wednesday's friend) or he was the monster. She was furious because she was outsmarted and betrayed by Tyler. The only person she opened her black little heart and he was the one who stomped it. He was the monster under her nose and she underestimated him. That's why he humiliated her with that monologue in the police station. He knew she was very competitive and the only way to hurt her was bringing that fact in to her face. By the way, ABSOLUTE CINEMA! Praises to Hunter.
At the end, Wednesday understood very well what happened during the monologue about how Laurel manipulated and enslaved Tyler. And then we found out he was tortured, drugged, abused, groomed and corrupted in order to unlock the Hyde. So I fail to see him as the real villain.
Oh but he hated Wednesday and wanted to kill her! Excuse-me but Wednesday is not an angel: she almost killed 2 normies tossing piranhas in the pool, she said she would go further in the pranking against Xavier LOL she was about to hammer Tyler's knee if his father didn't interrupt her! And he possibly was ordered to kill any outcast before see her in the woods after Goody healed her.
Did Tyler hate her? You guys make me laugh! He hated her so much he wanted to kiss his nemesis! He hated so much he learned how to prepare that happy birthday coffee in one week! He hated her really bad that he prepared a date he knew she would like. What kind of hate is this? He saved at least 2 times as the monster and the first time was his free decision. He didn't know about her being an important key (!) to laurel´s plan.
I'm not saying here that he didn't manipulate her or lied to her. I know what he did. But he was forced to do those things! Do you really want to believe he wanted to lie for her? They really liked each other's company. It's not difficult to find the hints about how they are comfortable with each other. He loves her personality and she loves he likes her despite her personality! Isn't that obvious? They are not toxic as people keeping saying, but they were envolved in a toxic situation.
I'm really tired of people wishing Tyler's death on Twitter because they believe he is threat for Enid and the Wenclair ship. But let me save you more time because I'm genererous today: it's not gonna happen! Tyler is a main character. He is not gonna die. Wednesday has some sort of connection with him and we will find out what it is on S2. Besides that, the Hydes lore begins now. We have so much to learn and see! Let's wait.
That's it. Regards.
P.S.: I'm thinking about translating this text and transform into a thread on Twitter to bring more hate to my life from anti Tylers.
Okay so i'm going to give you my full reasoning as to why I think Tyler will more than likely have a redemption arc. Now, I say this not just because I want Wednesday and Tyler to reunite. But i'm looking at this from a writers perspective.
I am majoring in Journalism, and am going for a minor in film studies. And from that perspective i'm going to give you my reasoning as to why Tyler's redemption arc is coming.
For one, we know we're getting a season 2, and we also know that Hunter will be returning as Tyler because the end of season 1 set it up to look like Tyler escaped police custody. Ok, since we know that. What will Tyler's role be in another season since he's already outed as the villain?
Well they could keep him a villain, but honestly that wouldn't really be all that exciting because we already know he's the hyde, plus what would Tyler even do as a villain now that Thornhill is gone? Just mindlessly chase Wednesday down for revenge?
No, that does nothing to progress this character in any sort of way.
The Second option is Tyler is going to be on the run from the cops, so who might he turn too? The only person he can think of that isn't scared of him, and is smart enough to get him help. Wednesday. Now, I feel like at some point Tyler is going to have to have a serious decision on his hands, and I think that's going to be him asking Wednesday to help him either gain control of his hyde, or asking her to look deeper into his mothers past as a hyde. Both of those option could very well happen, and of course this path will lead to them having to work together to figure out Tyler Galpin's family history.
The Third Option that I think is also likely and could coincide with option 2, is that Wednesday will need Tyler's help at some point to confront her Stalker. I don't know who Wednesday's stalker is at this point, but I have a feeling that once we find out, it's gonna be a all hands on deck kind of situation, and rather Wednesday likes it or not, she's going to need Tyler Galpin's help.
Also, since we got no clear conversation between Tyler and his dad last season after everything that went down, we are definitely due for a heavy discussion between Tyler and his dad, that will hopefully mend their relationship a bit.
Now where do I think all of this will lead up to by the end of season 2?
Well, whatever happens in season 2, I have a strong feeling that Tyler Galpin is going to have a HUGE moment in saving the day. His redemption would have to be huge, because I don't see him going back to prison for the rest of his life. He's probably going to help Wednesday save the city of Jericho, and either gain control of his hyde, or lose the ability all together, whatever it is, Tyler's got to have a redemption arc.
Not to mention it was also mentioned by the writers that he is going to figure out how he really felt being a hyde, and how he really feels about Wednesday, this really makes me think that there is definitely going to be an emotional battle within him this upcoming season.
Now rather Wednesday and Tyler end up together is up in the air, but at the very least I think by the end of season 2 they will definitely be friends again.
And hey, maybe he can even live with the Addams family after he's officially released from prison.
But anyway that's just my theory from a writers perspective.
Got really emotional reading this, it’s well written and explains why team Tyler is so strong. Stay strong, Team Tyler. We will have our redemption arc.
it's gonna be EPIC! Mark my words!
So upon re-watching some scenes from Wednesday for fic research, I came to a realization. In episode 3, Wednesday wants to investigate the old pilgrim meeting house and asks Tyler where it is. He tells her, then offers to go with her, which she declines.
Now, obvious after Wednesday has her vision she wakes up and is jump-scared by Tyler / Hyde but like....why did he follow her there? There’s nothing (in my memory anyway) of any incriminating evidence against Tyler or Laurel or clues at the meeting house. So why would he follow her there?
BECAUSE DEAR READERS, when Wednesday was leaving, Tyler made a point to mention that the meeting house was a ruin, and kind of sketchy. Literally the ONLY REASON I can glean as to why he followed her there was to make sure she’d be safe. NOT TO MENTION he (adorably) mentioned how she was becoming ‘obsessed with this monster in the woods’. So why wouldn’t he go there as the Hyde to impress her? He certainly wasn’t there to kill anyone (oh yeah, and the old guy that harassed her he kills next? Tyler, honey, you’re not subtle.)
BUT ALSO, as Wednesday’s chasing after him in the rain, she comes across the footprints, very clearly changing back to human. Why leave such an obvious clue? Why change back at all? Running around naked in the rain CANNOT be comfortable? Why leave such a MAJOR clue like that the monster was human? Because Tyler was purposely leaving her clues. In whatever way he could, he was trying to tell her what was happening. WHY ELSE WOULD HE FOLLOW HER OUT THERE AND LEAVE FOOTPRINTS THERE’S NO OTHER REASON FOR HIM TO BE OUT THERE WITH HER THERE WAS NO OTHER PHYSICAL EVIDENCE FOR HER TO FIND
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE.
During the confession scene at the police station, obviously Tyler’s warning of ‘you have no idea what’s coming’. WHY WOULD HE TELL HER THAT IF HE WASN’T TRYING TO WARN HER. Wednesday thought Kinbott was Gates, and was DEAD. WHY GIVE HER SUCH AN OBVIOUS WARNING AND CLUE THAT SHE WASN’T DEAD LIKE BOY WAS EITHER ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE AT BEING EVIL OR WAS ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE AND TRYING TO WARN HER IN EVERY WAY HE COULD GUESS WHICH ONE I’M STANDING BY
(look I know this arguably happened bc plot needs to happen. I'm reading too much into it. I don't care. I am having the time of my life. please join me in my insanity)
NO BECAUSE ALSO I'M CONVINCED TYLER WAS COMMANDED BY GATES NOT TO TELL ANYONE ABOUT HIM BEING THE HYDE OR HER PLOT?? And like I'm pretty sure he's physically incapable of disobeying her but THAT DOESN'T MEAN HE'LL TRY TO FIND LOOPHOLES
but also THAT SCENE where he says she's starting to get obsessed with the monster is SO CUTE because he KNOWS that she's getting obsessed with HIM like he must've felt so happy that this girl he loves is getting obsessed over the side of him he thought no one else would love 😭
OMG! Here I am again!!!!!
having read lots and lots of smut, you could just divide them into two categories:
1.) extremely badly written smut, that look like they came straight from wattpad, with no plot or anything at all. just. dirty smut (less in a messy and sexy way but more in an extremely badly written way, possibly with some or lots of typos and grammatical errors, like when you’re a teenager and you want to write smut with the sole purpose of being so edgy and cool because you know what sex is, or you think you know).
2.) extremely well and professionally written smut that look like they came straight from the the rawest, deepest, most sinful pit of hell, the most treasured. they can either be rough or be gentle, but either way, they’re erotic and poetic, and you can just tell the writer is an adult who could be either a porn producer or a poet. like… you just want to study their brain and mind because it’s just so mind blowing how they can use such advanced, beautiful words to create something so raw and erotic with lots and lots of other feelings involved that aren’t just mindless arousal.
now, the point of my saying this isn’t to throw shades or attack anybody. the point of my saying this is that both of these categories can get you horny. they’re extremely very different from each other, yes, but having read works from both of these categories, they both can get you horny just the same.
and you know what? I fucking love both of them.
hear me now
I didn't know i had some kinks until i read some Weyler fanfics! i remember i read Give you my wild by @thetornadodream and my life changed. I'm telling u guys the truth! 🤭😏😂
if you guys have some more Weyler smuts to suggest... please let me know
Tyler being "clingy" with wednesday could be seen as annoying but when you think about it, wednesday is the only person that brings joy to his life amidst all the abuse he endeavors. So of course he wouldn't want to lose her. That scene when he asked "i thought we liked each other" may seem silly but hes desperate for any attempt in not making wednesday leave him. Hes been suffering all alone until this girl comes to his life and makes him smile and be happy for probably the first time ever.
Until wednesday knows hes the hyde and tortures him, he realizes that no one in his life will ever love him so thats when he turns evil
YES! But we know she gave signals indeed!!!
I think that scene on the police station was triggered by the torture. It's a theory! I'm not sure!
Of course the first boy I kiss would turn out to be a psychotic, serial-killing monster.
No, dude, I just can't. They are perfect. This scene is magnificent. I need them to kiss again. I'm serious.
Hey!!
And you guys swear Tyler Galpin was irrevelant to the plot! You make me laugh!
Tell me I'm not the only one who sees/thinks Wednesday was completely fascinated/mesmerized by Tyler's transformation into Hyde...
The young lady does not look at all frightened, but rather in full observation.
No but seriously...
She looks like she's looking at something beautiful. The way she follows the transformation of the look and the head...
Naughty girl.... 👀🙈🙈
call me crazy, Wednesday, but you keep giving me these signals.
Wednesday and Thing will definitely be at Willow Hill snatching and investigating things.
“Wednesday Addams would hate romance” No she wouldn’t.
She enjoyed the date with tyler. She would have kissed him had the sherif not barged in. She actively sought him out afterwards just to confess her feelings and to kiss him.
Not to mention wednesday and joel in Addams family 2.
She is a strong independent woman, yes. But that does not mean she is opposed to romantic affiliation. However, this doesn’t mean that she is actively seeking romance, or prioritizing it. It’s more of a “if it happens, it happens” type thing. She’s likely demiromantic if anything. She prioritizes herself and her goals over any romantic relationship but she’s not opposed to having it. I rest my case.
YES? The romance came so naturally for me that I didn't even realize I was shipping them. What I thougth was: Well it's okay! She is teenage girl. She wants to experience things. She want to kiss someone. Why not?
But they keep saying she was forced to kiss someone or go on date ??? REALLY? HAVE YOU REALLY WATCHED THE SHOW?
Wednesday doesn't need romance. She doesn't but she wanted. And that's something no one can deny.
Willingness doesn't imply consent.
After what Tyler went through, there couldn't be any free will of his left.
I'd say Stockholm syndrome and trauma bonding.
It screams Stockholm syndrome!!!
the biggest foreshadowing of Weyler Endgame!
