STEP INTO FALL WITH MACY'S I spent the better part of Summer praying the stagnant heat and 100 degree days in LA would turn into something resembling Fall. I’ve been longing for that transition so much so that I spent my Summer scouring through Fall trend reports and shopping for cooler days. Summer came and went, thankfully, but it wasn’t until I received the #MacysTrendBoxFW15 that I knew Fall was officially here. The really cool part about it was that this trend box was specially curated by Macy’s stylist for me and my style. Athletic wear has never been so chic and Macy’s is all over the trend this Fall. Macy’s sent me a pair of luxe quilted leather slip on sneakers, because they know me so well, and a black gold mixed media statement necklace. Fall is the perfect season to glam up athletic wear. A statement necklace paired with a light crewneck for glam night look, or a sleek sneaker with a classic silhouette paired with a coat and layers for a casual chic day look. The athletic chic trend offers endless possibilities for comfort and style this Fall. Full Figured Potential x Macy's: Spring Trends TV Segment

I was lucky enough to be one of two bloggers selected by Macy's to participate in their Spring Trends TV segment on Univision's morning talk show LANZATE. I was given the chance to style a spring look featuring the latest trends from a plus size perspective. We all know how hard it can be to find trendy plus size pieces so with this look I focused on showing how you can take a basic piece from your closet and incorporate the seasons hottest colors to create a look that is on trend. I started with a Marc by Marc Jacobs neutral colored asymmetrical dress, layered a Bar III neon colored crop top and a coral leather belt to add a spring feel. Although this is a plus size look all the clothes are straight sized, the reason I am sharing this with you all is to show you that there are options outside of the plus size section so don't ever feel limited. Explore all the options. Here's my outfit:
