All Robot*, All the Time

Okay, I could totally see that - getting Elliot back to reality, getting him on a terminal since Robot knew Ray wanted Elliot’s help. As we saw, Elliot can do a lot with simple access to a computer terminal. 

I’m still not sure about Elliot getting time off for cooperating and turning Ray in though given that VO line Elliot gave about sending an anonymous email once the site was back up and on the regular searchable web. That made me think the Ray thing was just getting a terrible website shut down. Personally, I think Elliot’s in for good old fashioned theft of property (flipper) and maybe probation violation as a result stemming from the earlier incident with destroying all those servers.

So I was about to delete this (why did I take it in the first place? idk), when I noticed the “Ray’s Goon” labels (why didn’t I look at it before? idk). 

So Ray is the name of Craig Robinson’s character, heretofore described as “a neighborhood local who reaches out to Elliot in his time of need.” Sounds pretty friendly, right? That’s what I was hoping for. But this seems to indicate he has some goons. And the goons coupled with the somewhat menacing shot of Ray leaning over Elliot in the trailer, plus the bts photos of Elliot in the park handing Mr. Robot some pills and Ray in the (same?) park, makes me think he might be Vera-esque instead of like, Elliot’s friend. Just some food for thought.
