Hell Neil,
I wanted to ask why in particular Maggie's vinyl shop in London delivers singles to The Resurrectionist in Edinburgh? (In my opinion it would make more sense for the The Resurrectionist to buy them from a local record store)
It would indeed. But Maggie's father had a side business supplying Juke Boxes around the country with Juke Box singles, and The Resurrectionist still get their singles from Maggie.
(I don't know about the US, but in the UK many of the surviving jukeboxes get serviced and get the singles from dedicated outlets, which specialize in that kind of thing.)
Can confirm that this is/was a thing. My grandmother used to have a nice little side business driving around to bars in west Texas, updating and changing out the 45s. We had a garage full of old ones by the time she retired.
Hi! It might have already been asked, but I would like to know what you think about the "Maggie is a demon" theory.
I just found out that it's an actual theory, but have been suspecting it for some time. As we know, every little detail is important in the show. It was emphasized that demons are not good at spelling and the first scene we get in the show is Maggie misspelling the word "urgency". This is already suspicious.
Also, the fact that Maggie's great-grandmother knew Aziraphale's "grandfather". Coincidence? I don't think so.
What is your opinion on all of this?
Hiya! :) I don't think that Maggie is a demon as such. - um, I am not sure I understood the Also, the fact that Maggie's great-grandmother knew Aziraphale's "grandfather". Coincidence? - I mean, that is the lore, that Maggie's ancestor started her record shop in the corner of Aziraphale's bookshop and so met Aziraphale ('s grandfather) :).
However, while I don't think that Maggie herself has some dark secret, it would not suprise me if her great grandmother was a demon (running from Hell? falling in love with a human?)- and Aziraphale gave her asylum in his bookshop :).
Who knows :).

If Aziraphale's Bentley is yellow, Maggie's is...
Maggie Service: Okay. The other Maggie, she's got a record player in there. We'll make that work somehow. Oh, yeah, it would be turquoise and, oh, it might have some kind of bird on the side.
Int: Like a dove.
Maggie: Yeah, but like a cool dove.
Int: A dove wearing Ray Bans.
Maggie: Yeah.
Int: Like a cool dove
Maggie: Yeah.
Int: Yeah, why are we getting so angry?
Maggie: I don't know but I like it. Okay, I just.... hot pink probs? Just probably hot pink. Really goodspeaker system. Somewhere to put your drinks. Not an alcoholic, we're driving. Yeah, I think that. I think, like, a really bold hot pink. And it might play the odd musical tune.

Hello Neil! Not sure if you’ve answered/explained this already in the FAQ but since I didn’t see it, I’ll ask: What made Maggie and Nina immune to Aziraphale’s miracle during the bookshop attack after the ball?
I’ve seen some speculate there was a miracle blocker in place, others think the girls didn’t fall for it because they were already too suspicious of Crowley and Aziraphale, therefore didn’t fall under the “nobody will notice anything” category of perception (which I had always presumed to be “well, they might be minding their own business, see something strange but my miracle will make it so they don’t truly notice and continue with their day”, please correct me if I’m wrong)
Or was it simply that Aziraphale’s miracle wasn’t as powerful as usual thanks to the stress from Shax’s attack, so he just couldn’t focus properly on the miracle?
Also: hoping you’re having a lovely day!
When I wrote it I imagined the latter. Also I think Aziraphale is a bit lazy on his miracles because mostly humans are pretty suggestible. At that point in the story Maggie and Nina would have needed a lot more pushing than Aziraphale had the spoons for.
