Neil, would you know why the violin song that plays after Crowley saves Aziraphale's books in the church is not in the official soundtrack? Is there any chance that it could be released in the soundtrack for S2 (even if it's a S1 song, we love it so much)?

Because not everything could fit in the soundtrack. We hoped there would be a volume 2, but volume 1 of the soundtrack did not sell enough copies to make that happen.

Michael Sheen and David Tennant on The One Show playing a guessing game about objects they got from sets. (x)

Michael: This is a beautiful book, it's called Folk Tales of All Nations by F.H. Lee, and it's beautifully bound, where do you think this is from?

David: I reckon you nicked that off the set of Good Omens.

Michael: I did! It's from Aziraphale's bookshop! It's from Aziraphale's bookshop which got burned down at the end of the story and so we were asked 'Do you wanna to keep some of the books?' so I got a bunch of books from Aziraphale's bookshop.

I just saw the deleted scenes from good omens! I love all of it so much. In the scene with crowley taking out the cell phone tower, why do the rats listen to him? I mean he is technically a snake, shouldn't they be scared of him? Just funny, thought I'd ask. Have a great day! 😁

He is technically a demon. Who is sometimes a bit snakey. And if I was a rat, I’d be much more inclined to take orders from someone who might eat me if I didn’t than someone who is just nice and sweet and puts food down in the alley outside his bookshop every night.

From the DVD commentary, episode 1:

Douglas Mackinnon: One of the things I wanted to do visually was attempt through the series to always have Aziraphale on the left and Crowley on the right, and we very pretty much did achieve that.

Neil Gaiman: We fail when they're in the Bentley.

Douglas Mackinnon: Because the steering wheel is on the wrong side.

Neil Gaiman: Exactly.

Douglas Mackinnon: If we'd been making this in the America it would've been a lot easier.

Neil Gaiman: It would have been fun.

Douglas Mackinnon: Yeah. But, generally speaking, I wanted to do the old Ant and Dec thing. Which, for international audiences, And and Dec are the UK's most famous television presenters and they always stand together with Ant on the left and Dec on the right. But I that in this case it would just help the audience through visually, just by always feeling they knew where they were.

Neil Gaiman: Yes, and you always know something odd is going on when they're moving around.

Douglas Mackinnon: It's one of my great pleasures in life that David and Michael now, when they do interviews, and they're not in this order, they swap.

I browsed through their interviews promoting the show and truly in most of them they sit like in the show :). Found only two so far whey they did not, but I think that the first one is from February where they in all likelihood didn’t have that agreed routine yet and the second is Graham Norton Show where they weren’t probably allowed to choose :).
