Some illustrations I made in collaboration with @magnoliapearl for the Cards of Camelot deck! Magnolia was the heart and mind behind this project; I was but a humble labourer getting to illustrate her wonderful interpretations and designs.

Galahad, The Holy Grail, Morgause and Gawain.

Galahad is my personal favorite card of the entire set! Magolia's draft for him was so evocative, I loved re-interpreting her sketch of Galahad in my own style.

Gonna buy these!!

Your blog is awesome! Do you have any recs with a good exploration of Holy Grail topic and sir Galahad? I want to go deep down in Christian mystic's side of Arthuriana If you understand what I mean :-)

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I think John and Caitlin Matthews wrote a bunch of spiritual (not exactly novels) arthurian books!

Regarding the more novels side of it, "Blessed bastard" (Lehmann) is a good arthurian book and it has the Holy Grail quest (even if I would not exactly describe it as Christian mysticism). For more Holy Grail related things, somehow Percival has much more luck: Corbenic (Fisher), Wolfram von Eschenbach's Percival series and Richard Monaco's Percival series,

If you like short stories Out of Avalon (Roberson) is a collection of Avalon and Grail related ones (but mainly influenced by Mists of Avalon, I found) and here is a summary of them. Same for Grails: Quest of the Dawn (here is a summary).

Mike Ashley also collected some great stories (I love them!) in his "Chronicles of the Holy Grail"
