Because it is. My flatmate, who had never seen Glee, recently got to enjoy some "Glee moments out of context" videos and upon seeing one person wielding a butcher knife and clubbing down onto a slab of meat, my flatmate said "Lady Dimitrescu vibes". So here we are.

Milf$hake
I don’t even properly remember how I came up with the diner waitress idea, but I do remember „milf$hake“ being part of the reason. If you’ve seen the first version, I feel the need to apologise. In contrast to this second version it’s just horrid in so many points. I am glad I redid it and it’s funny to me how people watched the stream of the first, occasionally catching me thinking to give up on it LMAO
I was being called an Angel, the next thing I remember was me trying to draw a tall lady bending down to spread her angelic wings
If I tell you, I spent about 5-10 minutes on these wings… sometimes it really is about choosing three colours randomly and just pulling strokes. Also textured brushes!
Lady Dimitrescu but make it Roaring 20s
Initially went to look at Burlesque photography but ended up looking at 20s fashion, mostly heavy material slung around bodies like a weight, yet rich looking and it reminded me of our Lady D, so I pieced together some inspiration photos and eventually went with my own design.
Shoutout to my social economy teacher who told me to become a fashion designer (back when I never drew clothes 💕 so it was… a Statement)
Lady Dimitrescu as a witch
For some reason, the clock app registered my Burlesque Dimitrescu drawing and suddenly the algorithm brings it to everyone, I am very overwhelmed as for right now by the sudden massive response. I have been getting traction for some drawings earlier before, but 20k people seeing a drawing and me getting followers every two minutes is shocking. This is a massively positive thing, I am just very overwhelmed and don’t quite know how to feel about this as for now, I am anxious and feel pressure going on, wanting to deliver to all those people and each drawing makes me feel insecure in this very moment. Again, I am equally excited and it’s lovely to see people liking my art like that! Very grateful for each person, I hope I don’t miss any replies, they’re always so dear to me!
