I have been VERY hard at work at getting all the weapons and effects working in my RPG. This is RPG Maker MZ, but you'd barely recognize it at this point.
I need to add little hand sprites so the weapons aren't just kinda floating in front of their hands and it looks like they're properly grasping them. But you get the idea. There's NES sound effects to go with all this too, made in FamiTracker. At some point I'll make a showcase video, but I'm not sure when.
The Final Fantasy influence is pretty clear here, but I wanted to go above and beyond with constantly visible equipment and all sorts of animations and character poses. Expanding the content in this game is going to be FUN.
Though, uh, at some point I have to compose music I guess? Ergh.
Gonna take it right into the Fantasy Zone🎶

Close up turnarounds of all the Sonic Oney models. Also a little insight:
Chris, Corey, and Zach, being the gremlins they are, don't take care of their costumes, so they're a little grubby. Ding Dong, Julian, and Tomar, on the other hand, take care of their costumes, keeping them clean.
Lyle didn't want to participate, but Tomar forced him to. Because he didn't have a costume, Chris and Corey quickly made one for him.
