Because I’m back on my bullshit and needed something to do. They’re just ideas if you want to, for example, play Batman in your D&D game, or want a pseudo-Beast Boy to come and help as an NPC with stats. Imagine facing a pseudo-Harley Quinn in a pseudo-Gotham oh no I’m thinking of a campaign already

Wow, uh … i had a lot of humans, which could probably be switched out for various half-elf variants. I almost made Raven a drow, but decided the Tiefling aesthetic was more her. It’s pretty clear what portion of DC I pay most attention to, huh?

Beyond Brothers

Yeah I’m not too much a fan of the background, but I enjoyed drawing these future boys a la @uncharted-constellations designs (I literally have so many WIPs that are coming together rn I’m sorry if it feels like I’m spamming you)

I miiight have used Dylan O’Brien as the fancast for both of them - he looks pretty different in American Assassin vs Teen Wolf, so I figured he could be both brothers. I love these two tbh

Tim Drake at 2:45 AM on his fifth energy drink

It took forever to figure out how I wanted to do him, (though the flame robin was easy to pick, for whatever reason).  I played around and found out that I just really like the salty watercolor brush. Salt just seemed Tim-appropriate.

Dick Grayson, anyone?

Okay so by now you all probably know that I love @uncharted-constellations redesigns of DC heroes with glitter galore. 

I’ve decided to start to experiment with my style and with those designs - I’m going to be reworking those Robin / Batfam pics I’ve been meaning to do, and that starts with Nightwing, who works perfectly with the galaxy.  The bird is a Siberian blue Robin. 

This should be the right dimensions for a lock screen or phone background, so if you want to use it, just like and reblog!

Jason Todd, the (Glitter) Red Hood

Same as last time, if you use it just like and share, and all thanks to @uncharted-constellations for both the concept of glitter+superheroes and the design! 

I didn’t make the bat tape-on like the inspiration, but like to think it’s Velcro because eventually whoever repairs/replaces their suits notices the dramatic slapping on of the bat and just accommodates him accordingly. The robin species I picked for Jason is the Red-Capped Robin - red hood, red helmet, red cap? 

(okay y’all I’m really super proud of this one especially since it’s my fave. Ignore the bad anatomy and lack of clarity on how a gun looks - I actually like the style of this one a lot for some reason, despite the sketchiness of the linework)

In the meantime of working on individual heroes, I maaay be working on a compilation of just straight up Robins :) (AKA: the nightmare of overlapping poses and just a wall of red yellow and green. Seven traffic light children.)

Also in case you’re wondering how that face came to be, it’s a morph of Curran Walters, Jensen Ackles, and Chris McCarrell - it turned out to be the perfect Jay in my head. Next up, hopefully, will either be Babs, Terra, or Tim

Still loving your various Robin designs, so of course I had to do it (seven overlapping poses with all the same color-scheme clothes–agh!)

Right, Terra - I just had to. For some reason her pose is from a combination of multiple gifs of Scarlet Witch in Infinity War, and her face is from my favorite Heather Chandler actress. Make of that what you will, characterization wise. 

Thanks again @uncharted-constellations for letting me play with your designs! Gonna take a step back from it for a bit, but I’m nowhere near through :) (So so so hyped to work on a Mar’i Grayson thing, omg) Going to work on my pieces for the bang I signed up for, then maybe some comics based off of my Batfam Series . Peace!

Okay @uncharted-constellations I had waaay too much fun with that cape. Purple glitter is too powerful. It distracted me from my WIS bang pieces, but I definitely needed the break. (Must not. Add glitter. To Iron Man… yet. At least not for these works lol)

Red Hood Redesign

Because I feel compelled to Make More Superhero Outfits how i want them

What do I do with figure drawing studies? Turn them into superheroes, apparently. First one is not edited digitally; the second has some hasty color scribbles from my phone.
