Pros and Cons of Being Kidnapped by:

Steve:

Pro - everything is really well planned out and tidy

Con - you have to work out every day

Bucky:

Pro - he keeps a routine so life is easy to predict (just not him)

Con - you have to earn everything you get from food to a bed

Thor:

Pro - great cuddler

Con - doesn't know his own boundaries and once after choking you to hard, you find out you're a replacement

Loki:

Pro - can do magic to get anything you need

Con - knives. Also the magic can be a pain.

Peter:

Pro - is super sweet and easy to talk to

Con - has some repressed trauma and calls you mommy. Even daddy sometimes.

Sam:

Pro - he's hilarious and has great taste in music

Con - knows how to gaslight due to his background in counseling

  1. Steve: I like organisation, but my busted ass cannot work out every day. Oof. That would be the real punishment for me!
  2. Bucky: I love routine, but if he’s unpredictable? That sounds like a tough guy to gauge, and if you’re in a situation where self-preservation is a top priority? Oof, you’ll get whiplash from trying to figure him out. That Con relationship sounds very master-slave, and I don’t know if I’m interested or not... 
  3. Thor: You can never go wrong with cuddling, but apparently, this himbo could take me out in my sleep, so... I’d be sleeping with one eye opened. And as it is, being a replacement would haunt me...
  4. Loki: Ah, yes... My weakness in the form of a man... Magic will never fail to be both terrifying and entertaining. My curiosity would definitely get the better of me, and I can imagine I’d get myself into all kinds of trouble. Now, as for knives...? Uh... I guess I’d better learn how to dodge?! Although I love him, my bias could not get me through pain and more pain.
  5. Peter: He’s a sweetheart no matter what AU you chuck him in; I don’t make the rules! And honestly? He’s so sweet that if he called me mommy/daddy, I’d use that to help him work through his trauma. Win-win.
  6. Sam: In any other situation? I’d love the man, but no amount of jokes or good music can keep you sane from gaslighting. You’d sooner walk off a cliff than endure it, trust me. He’d be the most unassuming captor.

Welcome to the Marvel Fandom Masterlist of Masterlists! Part 2/4

To give back to our fandom, I decided to compile a list of as many amazing Marvel writers as I could. The idea originally comes from the Hiddleston Masterlist I made in 2020, but this time, I want to make it bigger, better and more inclusive.

  • Before proceeding, know that this list comprises of writer of all kinds which includes: smut, fluff, angst, dark, non-con, dub-con, RPF, OC, etc. Please read the author’s warnings, tags and respect their boundaries. Minors, do not interact. Most of the writers on this list post works suitable for readers aged 18+.
  • To my writers who find themselves on this extensive list, know that your work is appreciated. If you have an AO3 or Masterlist and it wasn’t linked, I apologise. It was hard to gather all of this information on my own; please reblog and share your socials!

An MCU Fandom Present:

It is officially September 1rst, therefore we are not only closer to Fall weather, but we’re also closer to the holiday season. For those of you who hate (early) Christmas posts, the only reason I’m posting this so early is because I’ll need time to put this together. 

Here’s my idea/present: Since the holiday spirit is nonexistent in my home (for unfortunate reasons) my secular Christmas present to you all is creating a Masterlist of Masterlists for our MCU fanfic writers (focused on the men). 

The idea originally comes from the Hiddleston Masterlist I made about a year ago, but this time, I want to make it bigger, better and more inclusive. I’ve heard people say that they’ve felt left out when they were not mentioned or included in recommendation posts, or that they’re not getting nearly enough exposure as they deserve, etc. 

So, to support our writers, all you have to do is send an ask or DM with the following:

  1. Your favourite (MCU) writer’s Tumblr account (@ them) and who + which character(s) they write for. (Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Chris Evans, Tom Holland, RDJ, Anthony Mackie, Chris Hemsworth, etc.. I’ll be focusing on the first two, but if I get enough of the others, then it might be put in a miscellaneous list or a list of its own.)
  2. The writer’s Masterlist. (If Applicable.)
  3. Their AO3 Account. (Again, if applicable. Note: Wattpad will not be acceptable for personal reasons.)

It doesn’t matter whether or not the content of the creator is fluffy, smutty, dark, angsty, x OC or x reader, RPF, or include other fanfiction relating to the real person’s repertoire. The point is to get the word out about the amazing writers in the MCU fandom. Don’t be afraid to submit your own account, too! Just remember, you are responsible for the content you consume, so please be conscious of that.

That’s all you have to do! Send me that information by Christmas, and I will post a Masterlist of MCU Masterlists, recommending all of our great writers’ works for all to see. (If this goes well, I might work on a Masterlist for writers of the women of the MCU.)

Submissions open today September 1rst, 2021 and close on December 25th, 2021. The Masterlist will be posted on January 1rst, 2022.
