Conrad would be away a lot of the time which was all part of his job. It always hurt to see him go because you would never know if he would come home to you safe and sound. But you always trusted that he would return in your arms. And he did! And when he would show up on your doorsteps, he would pick you up and spin you around, kissing you like his life depended on it. You can probably imagine what would happen after 👀
On the days that Conrad was off duty, he would drive you around the city and lead you to a deserted road where you could have quality time with him. He would also take you to the lake where you would enjoy the peace and quiet and live in the present moment. Those moments were so dear to you especially knowing that not everyday is promised for either of you and you just gotta remind each other of how much y'all love each other and never take each other for granted🥺💜
