Chimera x Diaspro

Either witch or fairy is fine. Have a spell that can bring gargoyles to life or make gargoyles. A fairy animal companion that is based on Carbuncles.

Aesthetic: Aristocraticore/Royalcore, Victorian Gothic or Balletcore

Avatar

Finally! I finally got around to this! Meet Cassandra Tourmaline, or Cass for short. (Not Cassie, that’s me.) Witch of Animation, she can bring any inanimate object to life and have it act out her will as she pleases. She is smart, relatively demure, though has a tendency to act as though she’s better than other people, which she does acknowledge and try to work on.

With both of her mothers being fallen nobility, she grew up on a largely abandoned mining planet owned by Diaspro’s parents, since most planets didn’t care to have two toxic royals setting up there. As such, Cass didn’t have many friends, or any, except Joya, her bonded fairy animal. I researched carbuncles, and I get why you’d ask for one; they’re related to jewels and treasure, so with Diaspro’s powers, that makes total sense! When she was six, Cass found Joya and was guided by her to a hidden gemstone reserve, one of the last on the planet, and the money from restarting the mine allowed her family to set themselves up with a far greater measure of wealth, and allowed Cass to be raised as more of a lady than the somewhat rough and tumble child she had been. She took to etiquette well, however, Diaspro always worried that they were raising their daughter too similarly to how she’d been raised, leading her to believe that her only worth was in how people saw her. As such, she ensured Cass’s education was far more academic than her own, and took some time to explore the planet with her daughter, even to the extent that dirt got under her nails. Chimera joined after a while, eventually coming to see that they couldn’t be too controlling; the only thing she feared more than destitution was turning into her mother.

Eventually, when Cass turned fifteen, Chimera had her enrolled in Beta Academy, dropping her off with the parting words, ‘I love you, and remember to screw Alfea over any chance you get.’ Cass has obliged, and Alfea fairies have found themselves rather inconvenienced by living cutlery and shoes at any inter-school events. Other than that, she’s an exceptional student.

I really hope you like her! I spent all morning on her, and I’m so happy with how she turned out! Thank you for the request!

How did Alex use Roxy’s memory to find out that her grandmother brainwashed her own mother and when did that happened? Does Alex hold the same grudge in The Winx Club, Roxy’s mentor for forcing Roxy to be a fairy is her destiny, just like how Morgana wants Roxy to leads the Earth Fairies as their Queen??

Avatar

Alex didn’t have to use Roxy’s memories; Roxy just told her. Morgana invading Roxy’s mind during the war isn’t a secret. It’s pretty common knowledge. And yes, Alex doesn’t have a lot of love for the Winx, since they kinda rocked up in her mom’s life and told her ‘You’re a fairy, now fight for the fate of the world!’. It’s a bit too reminiscent of Morgana trying to get Alex to transition to become a fairy, because, as Princess, a pair of wings is expected. Dark eyeshadow and black magic is not so revered. And Morgana isn’t exactly forcing Roxy to be the next queen, but it’s evident that she expects that, which Alex dislikes, since Nebula is doing just fine, so she can stay on the throne and just crown her child the next ruler. Just make her the new official queen. That’d be fine with Alex.

Thanks for the ask!

What is Alex’s relationship with her grandma, Morgana? How did her mother and grandma reacts to Alex wanting to be a witch?

Avatar

Roxy rolled with it immediately. After not being listened to over not wanting to be a fairy before eventually having to accept it, she would never want her daughter to feel anything but accepted the way she is. Frankly, had someone told her being a witch was an option, she’d have seriously considered it before she got so comfortable with her wings.

Morgana…took it less well. Earth has some serious witch prejudice, so the heir to the throne having dark magic and no wings didn’t go over so well. But she and Alex had never had a fantastic relationship before that, because Alex didn’t like a lot of what Morgana did in the name of vengeance, not least of all constantly breaking into Roxy’s mind to try and brainwash her into joining her cause. So they mostly just avoid each other, and that works fine for Alex. Morgana keeps trying to instil decorum, and Alex is on a one-girl quest to put her feet up on every fancy table in the castle.

Thanks for the ask; it was a great one.

Who is Roxy’s daughter, Alex’s dad? Is it Manuel?

Avatar

Yes, it was Manuel. I designed her back when I still shipped them. So I don’t see them being together now, to be honest, but, honestly, with the friendship I’m writing for them in Dark Past, Bright Present, Insane Future, then he could be the father, just not Roxy’s partner. Just the doner so she could have a kid.

And, since you asked about her, here’s Alexandra Wilde! (But call her Alex, because, like her mother, full-naming her is a good way to get a death-glare.) She’s the Witch of the Wild, and she can communicate with animals, but more wild animals than pets or fairy animals. The more dangerous, the better the connection. She’s also a shapeshifter, and takes great enjoyment in using her powers to freak people out. (She saw some spell-visions of her mom’s fights against the wizards, and has taken it upon herself to copy all of Duman’s moves.)

She’s sassy, sarcastic, and determined to make every single person know that she’s a witch, she’s the princess of fairies, and there is nothing they or their prejudice can do about it.

Thank you very much for asking!

Anagam x Flora

I know you are not familiar with Forest Punk. So either of these: Cottage Core/Goblin Core/ Lagenlook.

A healer but never have the incompatible of healing magic, imagine Seunghyeon Kang from Life of a Quack Healer (if you read the manhwa). Excellent speedster and a fairy animal ranger, a guardian of fairy animals and nature (idea come from Pokémon Ranger)

Avatar

When you requested this, I already had a Flora x Anagan daughter in the works, so I finished her and put her here, since @lonelybiscuits said they’d want to see her, so it’s two sisters.

This is Bryony Hiedra! I didn’t really understand what the manga you were talking about was, but as far as I can tell, you would like her to be a healer, but with no healing magic. So she’s training as herbal healer with her mom. Which is good, because her sister can get into all kinds of scrapes, so having someone with healing expertise around can be useful.

She’s a witch, the Witch of the Untameable Wild, and she has nature powers like her mother, but far wilder. Her magic is a lot closer to Diana’s in season 4, when she takes over the city with vines. Call it an effect of Anagan’s dark magic. She’s an absolute sweetheart, but people making unpleasant remarks about her family really rubs her the wrong way, and then someone may get hit with a tree.

She has super-speed, and she’s almost as fast as her father, but she prefers her nature magic. Super speed makes her feel a little dizzy. She’s been made one of the new keepers of the Alfea Natural Park, despite being a witch. She showed the best relationship with nature and fairy animals, and so the discriminatory barrier just had to deal with it. (Once her sister had finished yelling about the situation to Faragonda, there wasn’t much choice.)

And here’s her sister! Willow Hiedra! She’s a year younger than Bryony, and she’s got a fierce, loud personality you can hear from space. She’s a fairy, but she’s transformed about three times so far in her life. She’s even faster than her father, and she leans fully into physical combat, so when it came time to head to Magix after her sister, she marched right into Red Fountain and said this was her school, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. The school doesn’t admit girls, but after she owned Codatorta’s best students in combat, they had to rethink that policy. Since then, she’s got her own wind rider, a dragon, and a kickass pair of thorn whips. And she doesn’t wear the uniform, because she has her own clothes, thanks, and she fights better without a massive impractical cape weighing her down.

She’s way too up for a fight, and Bryony’s lost count of the times she’s had to patch her sister up after she underestimated a squad of the best Specialists in school. Anagan and Flora have been to Saladin’s office so many times…

Willow technically has magic, but it takes far more after her father, so she fits in just fine at Red Fountain’s wizard classes. Her only nature magic is thorns. Lots of thorns. She can grow roses, but she’s growing them for the thorns.

Her parents both have legacies, and she’s determined to leave a bigger mark than either of them, and honestly, she’s on her way.

Nobody actually knows what she’s the fairy of, since she doesn’t transform, but she always replies with ‘I’m the Fairy of Mind Your Own Goddamn Business’. Then maybe some…choice words.

Thanks for the request!

Cindy (Winx Club Season 4) x Gregory (Winx Club Post Season 4 Comic)

Female

Witch

Beta Academy Student

Avatar

First of all, amazing pairing request! I loved designing a child for them. Cindy and Gregory had a lot of potential, but we don’t get to see any of it, not really. Gregory stops attacking because he loves her, but then nothing. But in a world where there was something, that something leads to Maya Winters, Witch of Heartache! I know that sounds like a really horrible title, and like she’s some kind of cruel sadist that makes people hurt, but she’s really not. She’s not exactly Fluttershy-nice, but she’s very friendly, and she’d be the first person to welcome you…just about anywhere. Her powers allow her to sense when someone is in emotional distress, so she knows where a friendly face can do the most good. She has a very mild sarcastic edge, but it’s never unkind. She picked Beta Academy over Cloud Tower because the school accepts fairies and witches both, so she was hoping to get through high school with no silly rivalries. (Spoiler alert: being at the same school doesn’t stop fairy/witch rivalries.)

I got the idea for her powers because I headcanon Cindy as being the Fairy of the Heart, so it’s connected to that, plus the fact that her parents sure had their fair share of heartache. Maya can cause heartache, but she can also sense its cause and help heal it. She can make it go away altogether, but she barely ever does that, because if someone’s hurting, there’s a reason, and a spell can seldom make that reason go away. As a result, she tends to act as a bit of an amateur therapist for her friends and random strangers she met on the bus. She has a tendency to become a bit too involved, though, which can become a problem. Since her powers are almost entirely emotional, she’s severely lacking when it comes to magical combat, so she has to make up for it with physical combat skills, which are pretty badass. You do not want those boots landing a kick in your ribs.

I designed her with a mix of Halloween witch vibes, the style of the Beta Academy students shown in season three, and the Wizards of the Black Circle’s style. (She has four references to the wizards’ outfits across hers. Can you see them?) I’m actually really in love with her outfit; green and gold really suit her!

I don’t have context for how their parents are on good terms, but Maya is Sage’s best friend in the whole universe. Their friendship can basically be summarised as the girl who was trying to hide through some kind of social scenario, and the endless ball of friendly chatter that decided to act as her social shield and take any and all questions. And in return, she gets to see through to Sage’s guarded side.

Anyway, that’s Maya! I really hope you like her; I had such a great time designing her!

Icy x valtor, girl, icy/princesscore, heterochromia with dark blue and silver with icy blue highlights

Avatar

Wow, I am so sorry this took so long to get done! I just didn’t really have any idea where I was gonna go with it for a while, and then inspiration hit, and here we go!

This is Freya Zima, Witch of Winter and the Princess of Dyamond. I came up with some lore for her while I was drawing, so I hope you don’t mind if I ramble a tad.

So, in Freya’s reality, in which Valtor and Icy are together, because the ask says so, Valtor learned of Icy’s homeworld’s destruction, and used his Dragon Fire to attempt to thaw it. As he was so weakened, and lacked the power he once possessed, he was unable to do so in full, but he did manage to free the planet’s people from the permafrost. However, the kingdom is still trapped in an eternal, bitter winter, and as it is a kingdom led by one of the Trix and her evil wizard partner, asking for aid from the other realms is implausible, for obvious reasons. Not to mention that Dyamond’s plight was ignored for years anyway, before Icy even took her first steps on the path to villainy, as the kingdom was one of the only ones in the dimension in which witches and dark wizards were more prevalent than fairies, and so the planet was looked upon as something of a black sheep.

So now Icy and Valtor rule, and Freya has grown up in an eternal winter, and has learned to bend that winter to her will. She’s a sweet, lovable girl, striving to be the best princess she can be for her people, but she’s also a strong skeptic, as she’s grown up knowing that her planet was ignored for years by those claiming to safeguard the worlds.

She is probably closest with her aunt Sapphire, who’s still a fox, but, thanks to incessant research by Darcy (who jumped right on board with this whole ‘saving and ruling a planet’ thing if Icy was doing it, along with Stormy), she has regained the capacity for human speech, and uses it to get into all kinds of scrapes with her niece.

While I was drawing this, I decided that she exists in the same canon as Sera, Sage, Aurin and Zoe, and later in life, I believe she and Sera would meet, and I firmly believe the crushing is very mutual.

I hope you like her! Sorry she took so long to exist.

Winx Next-Gen: Sage Ahlström

And here we have Sage! She’s my Duman x Gantlos baby, and I love her so much. It took me a while to get around to designing her outfit here, but I’m so in love with how it came out. (But why, why, why did I give her the buckles? Those are the part of Gantlos’s outfit that I hate the most. Why would I do that to myself?)

Anyway, Sage is the Fairy of Shadows, and she has the power to bend darkness to her will. She can also hide in shadows, and on a number of occasions has just stepped into someone’s shadow and vanished. She’s actually really shy, so that ability gets used a lot, and she’s hidden in Gantlos’s shadow more times than anyone can count.

She’s a shapeshifter, and she’s every bit as talented as Duman, but her magic tends to wind up being used to make herself look like someone else, because she just isn’t comfortable in her own skin. Duman’s tried to talk to her about how unhealthy that is, but it doesn’t really sink in.

Having parents as powerful as hers, whose deeds have echoed through legend, being skittish and shy makes her feel like she isn’t living up to her legacy, and the fact she’s the fairy daughter of two former fairy hunters doesn’t help, even though Duman and Gantlos have told her a million times that they love her no matter what.

Sage is pretty timid most of the time, but if you threaten someone she loves, you can see that she did inherit Gantlos’s protectiveness. She’s a bit like Fluttershy. Pretty meek, until you threaten her friends, and then she’ll stand up for them, if not for herself.

Sage also has a habit of creating personas, faces she’s dreamed up and wears, living another life that makes her feel more confident in herself. She tries to channel that confidence in her own skin, but she can never quite get there.

I’m so glad I finally made a post about Sage! She’s my lovely girl, and I hope you like her! @lonelybiscuits, you said you’d want to see this.

Winx Next-Gen: Corinne Allbright

So, I asked if anyone wanted to see some next-gen stuff I just did for fun, and so here’s the first! This is a Stella x Duman fanchild named Corinne. She goes by Cora for short. A combination of ‘The Fairies of the Black Circle’ and @duman-anon’s fic ‘Stay with Me’ got me in the mood to design her, and I’m very happy with how she turned out. I even included the hook in the nose from Duman.

I do have some lore for her, actually. So, she’s the Fairy of the Electromagnetic Spectrum, because the electromagnetic spectrum is different forms of the wave that make up light, so I’m combining form and light here. So she can create illusions, but she can also technically fry you with gamma rays. But she’s a little ray of sunshine, so she won’t! (Unless you really tick her off.)

She can shapeshift, but not really fluidly, and she mostly uses the ability to change her hair to suit her mood. Beyond that, she’s never really felt a desire to change her shape.

She’s as much of a fashion lover as her mom, though she’s never really felt much love for the punk look (not that she hasn’t tried the Mohawk, and frankly rocked it), and she tends to dress every bit the Solarian princess. She mostly acts in accordance with her royal birth, but, well…she’s Duman’s kid. She’s messed with people.

@lonelybiscuits, I’m tagging you because you said you’d want to see this.

Stella × Brandon

11 years

Female

Avatar

I am not sure I’ve ever been more in love with one of my character designs. This is Zoe Allbright! She doesn’t have her wings yet, but she’s gonna be the Fairy of Celestial Bodies. Hence the Sun and Moon aesthetic. I kinda just went wherever my imagination was going with this, and I got the inspiration for the split colour schemes: one side the Sun and the daytime (specifically sunrise and sunset colours), the other side the moon and nighttime. (Her blue hair is actually from a screenshot redraw I did a while back of Stella with moon powers, so, in my own personal heacanon, she gets that from her mom.)

I like the preppy style I ended up giving her, but she’s still got her mother’s flawless sense of style. She’s got her energy times ten, too, and is already an enthusiastic little diva. She can wield the energy and light of the Second Sun of Solaria, and is an expert illusionist thanks to her lunar powers. I’m aware she doesn’t really look like Stella or Brandon, but I couldn’t resist giving her the Sun and Moon duality that I always wished we’d seen with Stella!

I really hope you like her! This may have been the most fun I’ve ever had with a character design.

Did Bloom made Celestial Sabre for Aurin? 😮🤩✨

Avatar

I’m not sure Bloom has much skill when it comes to metalworking, but, as Stella’s sceptre contained a spark of the Dragon Flame, it’s totally possible that Aurin’s weapon has the same, so in that case, Bloom definitely provided that. As Aurin is Stella’s son, I can’t imagine there’s a lot Bloom wouldn’t do for him, as, being Stella’s best friend, she’s certainly at aunt status. (She’s the cool, controls the very life force of the dimension, aunt.) For the actual sword itself, I’m picturing it would have been forged by Hagen, the blacksmith from the Company of Light, since we know he made Oritel’s sword, so he’s kinda the go-to guy for awesome magical weapons.

Thank you very much for the ask!

Bloom and Sky’s daughter, Seraphina Hawthorne! Since there were no specific requests here beyond the parents, I just decided to have fun and go a little crazy with design, and I’m so happy with her! Seraphina tends to go by Sera (and Hawthorne is Sky’s surname, in case anyone was wondering), and she’s a perky princess with a bit of an edge. She came out with this kind of punk, Harley Quinn sort of look, with the alternating red and blue, and I don’t know where that came from, but I leaned into it and I love it.

For anyone wondering about the bird, I have an explanation. I thought it’d be really interesting if Bloom’s daughter had the power of the Shadow Phoenix rather than the Dragon Flame (Darkar’s gone, so that magic needs a holder), and so Sera’s the Witch of the Shadow Fire, which not everyone loves, since the Shadow Fire is evil, but Sera will quickly counter that everything needs it’s opposite, and she’s her mom’s, so together they uphold balance, and people like balance. They’re not so fond of giant red and black birds that follow their princess around, though. (It’s not Darkar, don’t worry.) His name is Ares, after the Greek God of War (I told you Sera had an edge), and he’s kind of like a cross between a bonded fairy animal and the physical embodiment of her powers. When Sera was young, she found a young hawk in the palace grounds, wounded and dying, and, being eight and not understanding her magic in full, she attempted to copy her mom’s healing powers. They worked, to an extent, but they warped and changed the bird into a dark phoenix, magically connected to her. Bloom and Sky were…well, they weren’t expecting Sera to come back inside with a bird covered in dark fire, but the two were inseparable by then, so they rolled with it.

Sera can use all the powers of the Shadow Phoenix, including summoning Darkar’s shadow monsters, though hers come with her own unique aesthetic. However, she’s yet to figure out if and how she can transform into a phoenix like Darkar.

Thanks so much for sending in the request! I had a really, really great time designing Sera, and I hope you like her! Let me know what you think!

Winx Next-Gen: Armonia Abbadon Song

Here is Musa x Gantlos! Meet Armonia Abbadon Song! Credit for the first and middle names goes to @devilheartsblog, who made me ship Musa x Gantlos in the first place. So, this is Armonia, but she goes by Mona a lot of the time, and she’s got sonic powers, mostly based around destructive sound waves like Gantlos. If she gets mad, her shouts can be incredibly destructive, so it’s a good idea for her to stay calm. Not that she stays calm, it would just be a good idea. She’s got a sharp, sarcastic sense of humour, and she’s almost always up for a fight (if not outright looking for one).

She’s technically a fairy, but she’ll opt for throwing a punch before donning a sparkly miniskirt and throwing spells. But her fairy form definitely has a hat. I don’t know what the rest would look like, but it definitely has a hat.

I think she and Corinne exist in the same canon, and I just know Cora annoys the heck out of her. Mona doesn’t like it if anyone looks at her as any kind of next generation Winx-in-waiting. She’s not a Winx, she’s not a Wizard of the Black Circle (though if she was choosing a legacy, she’d choose the latter). She’s a feisty fairy that gets into scraps and hasn’t ’stood up straight’ once in her entire life. And if people don’t like that, nobody is making them acknowledge her existence.

@lonelybiscuits, I’m tagging you because you said you’d want to see this.

Winx Next-Gen Request: Hunter Ahlström

I am so sorry, I have no idea what forestpunk is or how to make it an aesthetic. I looked it up, but I was still confused, so this is me doing my best with a punk hunter look. I hope you still like it, @froppy-butterflyfan2000!

So, this is Hunter Ahlström, Gantlos and Sibylla’s son. He’s a wizard, like his father, and he has tracking powers, though he does not posses destruction magic. He’s very serious, with a more playful side that only comes out around people he’s very close to.

I went with Sibylla’s lighter hair colour for his hair, since I thought that was a good mix of Sibylla’s orange and Gantlos’s blonde, and, while I was drawing this, I noticed that Gantlos and Sibylla have basically the same eye colour, which made picking Hunter’s eye colour so much easier.

Thank you so much for sending in the request, and I hope you like it!
