When the wizards were in the sewers, I don’t think they’d have easily been able to keep clean. They managed the bare minimum, but I think Ogron has quite an extensive hair care routine to keep it nice and healthy, and whilst they were in the sewers, it got really lank and greasy, and it bothered him no end, so he ended up binding it back in a really tight bun most of the time because he was always on edge and greasy hair in his face was enough to elicit a very brief yelling episode. Then when he was in a fight, before he initiated contact with the Winx, he ensured his appearance was flawlessly glamoured so he looked utterly pristine, then got sad when he let it go and had to face how bad he actually looked. Meanwhile Anagan’s hair was utterly fine, Gantlos just didn’t give a damn what his hair was like, and Duman thought Ogron was acting insane because it’s just some grease, worse things have happened. Then made a big deal of it because it annoyed Ogron. Then Sibylla took them in and Ogron finally got to wash his hair and had about five minutes of actual blissed out serenity before he went right back to stressing.
