You know, I fkn hate Stella's Believix top. It looks like something a 5yo would wear. Musa looks cringe too and Layla is okay but give my girl back her green. Sooo...
First one is how she'd look with her show color palette and the second one is the one I like better because it also includes her moon powers. Plus bangs! Stella needs bangs.
Tried to capture Musa's tomboy style with red as her main color again. Not satisfied with Layla because the green is actually too dark and pink should be her secondary color but it didn't match with the wings. The dark green looks at least better than the teal she got in the show. Tried to make both look a bit hip-hop.
Alright alright. Posting Winx redesigns. I have Bloom, Flora, and Musa in the works (meaning all I have to do is backgrounds) but haven’t had motivation to finish them. Yeah.

honestly the way stella gets her charmix is some of the most vulnerable and raw writing i've ever seen in the show. many of us know stella has a hard time talking about her parents while layla struggles with issues stemming from her feelings of not belonging in season two. and so when layla innocuously brings up stella's parents, she feels guilty and out of place for not immediately recognizing the sensitivity, which awakens long-unhealed wounds in both of them - namely around loneliness and isolation. it's crucial here that stella initiates the conversation with layla, as she can empathize with her in this moment, and in doing so they grow closer and more understanding of each other. the fact that stella gets a mirror-shaped pendant shortly after is just a cherry on top because stella and layla are mirror images of their past selves and traumas in this scene regardless of how or why they have felt alone or isolated.

Design notes🌊: So my version of Sirenix is mostly a mix between the Winx mermaid forms, Sirenix, and Harmonix, but I also wanted to make it unique while using all of those elements!
Each of the girls has a mermaid form that I imagine they would use inside the Infinite Ocean to swim a little faster and dodge attacks from Tritannus and the Trix, lol.
Each girl's tail is based on different things:
•Aisha (waves)
•Flora (betta fish)
•Musa (a harp)
•Stella (butterfly koi)
•Tecna (sailfish)
•Bloom (generic fish)
I wanted to give each girl something unique while also giving them something cool. Hope you all like this version as much as you liked the Enchantix designs!
Story/lore:🌊 Sirenix is known as the "Transformation of the Sea." Originally, it was only used as a tool to access the Infinite Ocean and its secrets. However, a nymph took control of the magic and lost her life in the Infinite Ocean, leading the Magix Council to deem transformation dangerous and forbidden. Only the nine nymphs of Magix were prohibited from using this form, and they oversaw magic users seeking its power. That was the case until they all passed away one by one. Now, the Winx must complete the Sirenix quest to save the Magic Dimension and uncover the mystery of the Sirenix transformation

There's something I want to say.
This is totally my headcanon too! I accept it! Everyone just treats Tritannus like dirt, for no apparent reason. Why? What did he do? I think it says something that Tritannus didn’t bother showing up to the coronation. Neptune was supposed to be deciding who’d be the next king. Maybe his family already knew, but I just feel like he hadn’t made the announcement, but everyone already knew he’d pick his golden boy. So Tritannus knew there was no point to him showing up and standing there while his father confirmed that he liked Nereus more. Also, can we just acknowledge that Neptune…well, he doesn’t seem all that shaken by the revelation that his son just attacked his brother. He’s angry, but he doesn’t totally flip out in the way one might expect. He just…has him thrown in prison. Locks him in a cell so deep he will never escape it. No trial? Now ‘what the heck are you doing, what were you thinking, I’m so upset and disappointed’? This is his son, having a very blatant mental breakdown, and he doesn’t even ask why he’d do this? I think he was glad he could fully justify his decision now. He can’t be painted as the bad guy when everyone that said Tritannus was a psycho that didn’t deserve to be made king is proven right.
I am so glad that I am not the only one! I do not get why his people and Aisha calls him psycho, and Aisha expect him not to acts like it! I do not know what is the elaboration to why Tritannus is power hungry when wanting the throne, and wonders why Politea says that the Emperor’s Throne listen to Tritannus as the true emperor in The Mystery of Abyss.
It is almost like Tritannus’ father, aunt, and uncle do not want him to be the emperor for some reasons that is unknown and try to changes destiny. Did the Royal Family made him to be the bad guy on purpose?!? He’s like a teen who is trying to find his own identity, but can’t due to society’s expectations on him and force to grown up quickly (which I wish that there are interactions between Aisha and Tritannus where they realized they have something in common) but never got any good role models/parental figures in his life. He seems to enjoy rapping.
Other than being kind, I do not get what are the reasons Nereus (I do not hates him. Just wish his character is put to good use. Plus, I believes the Sword of Neptune should goes to Aisha since the sword got its powers again after Aisha held it.) would be the Next King of the Seas on Andros. After seeing episodes of him in it, he doesn’t seem to be powerful. He was literally dead, until Aisha used her Sirenix wish to resurrect him (which she could have use it to bring back Nabu).
