Chase can usually sense when people are in his domain in the Land of Nowhere, but especially when they're at his lair. He's very aware when people are at his door.

It's how he locks the door and traps the monks in the second they cross the open threshold.

It's how he sent the jungle cats to escort Omi inside to him before Omi even had to so much as knock.

It's how he always makes sure the door falls on Jack regardless of which direction he goes to avoid it.

He's even able to track a literal fly coming in and out of his lair.

Usually, characters who come into or make it out of Chase's lair do so because he's allowing it.

But that ability to sense others in his territory seems to be one of the many powers dulled when the Heylin Eclipse comes around.

Wuya and Hannibal are able to have this meetup about their plan to jump Chase during the Eclipse, right at Chase's literal doorstep. They know he's too weakened to sense them there right now or to do anything to stop them there at the moment.

Appearance: Sophia has pale green skin with gray scleras and yellowish amber pupils, her hair is similar to her mother in which is a strange smoke-like substance in the style of a drifting cloud. She is tall and has a svelte build.

Personality: Few know the true Sophia Braxton, but perhaps most important is that she's brilliant and courteous. Of course she's also innovative, optimistic and capable, but those are often overshadowed by tendencies of being overprotective as well. Her brilliance though, this is what she's often adored for. People regularly count on this and her punctuality whenever they need assistance or help.

Nobody's perfect of course and Sophia has a range of flaws to deal with too. Her clingy ways and passive nature can cause things to heat up, both personally and for others. Fortunately her clever nature usually softens the worst of it.

Backstory: After trying to get Project Clear Skies the green light turned into a bust, and Sunblast having been eaten by Demencia after the Black Hat Organization's mission was successful, Penumbra seeks help from another like minded as herself. She goes to bellwood to find a Dr. Animo who could help her with the Numbra disorder, As they worked closer with each other things got a bit personal between them. A few months later she had Sophia as a result, her father felt the need to understand the numbra disorder and was intrigued by the condition. Thinking he could use this as an advantage to humanity and to make a legacy of himself experimented on the child, completely altering and splicing her DNA.

Penumbra, discovering what was happening to her child, called the plumbers and ran off to raise her daughter on her own. Sophia develops a type of Trichotillomania where she would pluck the growing feathers from her arms but in later years it lessens.

Sophia grew up aware of the other kids from her old school and developed a hatred towards herself due to the fact she isn’t normal, her childhood was tainted by her own father.

Powers and Abilities:

High intellect: She is an analytical person who studies biology and environmental science, most of the time she does experiments in her room.

Shadow Manipulation: Similar to her mother, her hair is a shadow-like substance that she can use for attacks, shaping it as she pleases. At times if she focuses enough she can blend within the shadows.

Animal transformation: Due to the experiments on her Sophia can transform into a giant Raven, the first time she transformed was painful and horrifying. Feathers sprouted on her limb and she went into a panic. When she changed back she was bedridden and couldn't sleep for a week, she got a better control of it now.

Animal Empathy: Sophia has an understanding bond with birds, mostly those of the corvidae family.

Relationship:

Kailanni Khan: Sophia and Kailanni have a rivalry of sorts, while she was and still is Destiny’s best friend she hates Kai for showing up and trying to be one of Des besties, that's Sophia’s job!

Bai bao: Bai is one of Sophia’s townsville high school friends, they bonded over their appreciation of birds (Bai with chickens) and old crush on Destiny. She’s usually the one to help her with physical problems.

Destiny: Destiny is Sophia’s best friend and her old crush. She first met in middle school when she moved to Townsville, Destiny was one of the few people who saw her not as an outcast or a freak but rather a person. She basically helped her come out of her shell and hang out the most with.

Calvin: Sophia seems to enjoy Calvin’s company enough to hang with him, both being nerds of sorts and one of her few guy friends she has.

Family:

Doctor Penelope Numan Braxton/Penumbra: Sophia’s mother whom she adores dearly. Penumbra raised sophia most of time when she was a child, internally she sometimes feels guilty of not helping her daughter sooner and try to make it up as much as she can

Doctor Animo: Sophia’s father who is strictly no contact. Animo was emotionally cold and pragmatic toward Sophia and only interacted with her when conducting experiments on finding the Numbra disorder cure, she hates her father with a burning passion and would have nightmares of him taking her away and destroying her.

Trix Week | Day 3 - Backstory for the Trix

I'M FINALLY DONE WITH DAY 3 AAAAGGHHHGHGHG

so uh. Their backstories... kinda sad. In few words: their fanilies were killed by the same organization because they were descendants of the Ancestral Witches. The organization is called The Order of Goodness and Light, whose goal is literally destroy every reminder of the Ancestral Witches 🙄)...

the family of Tharma's descendants disappeared long time ago, but few still carried her blood here and there. All of them were hunt down and killed. Stormy's mom had to ran away from her home planet as far as she could get, but was found nd killed anyway. But nobody knew that she had a child that she left at some orphanage, that's how Stormy survived.

Liliss' blodline was also lost at some point, but not long ago one of her descendants found out about their roots and tried to build the family back. They knew the Order is looking for them, but they were good at hiding. Unfortunately, the Order found them too, adn instead of trying to attack the family poenly, they planted something you can call a time bomb - a curse that was slowly corrupting the magic of their Home, killing everyone who stayed there long enough.

Only Belladonna's descendants never lost their roots, always honored the rules she wrote for them many centuries ago. They were really strong, their Home was protected better then some royal palaces and each generation had at least 3-4 children. The Order was hunting and killing them for at least 400 years, but for each killed they were loosing few of their people, it was almost like a real war. But in the end they were able to kill (almost) all of the main family in one day, only two choldren survived, Isolde who was in Magix at that moment, and Icy, because her magic was underdeveloped at that moment and she wasn't found. Then to find and kill the rest was much easier for the Order.

The Order doesn't know about Stormy's connection to Tharma, but they know about Icy and Darcy, and watch every their step, but don't interfere, letting the Winx handle them and hoping that they'll die in one of their fights.

But I have nothing to fear! For the blue bird is with me.
