What Sudanese people have been saying this whole time is being corroborated now by the United Nations.
The News The death toll of the ongoing Sudan civil war is likely much higher than previously estimated, new research suggested. A report said that more than 61,000 people have died in Khartoum state alone, triple the previous UN estimate for the entire country: 26,000 of those were killed as a direct result of the violence, but the biggest cause of death was disease and starvation. The chaos in Sudan — millions have been displaced from their homes — means that there is no systematic record of deaths, and the nearly two years of war have created the world’s worst humanitarian crisis, according to aid workers. Hundreds of thousands are at risk of famine.

hello Tumblr, I could really use your help with a fundraiser that I trust. I have been messaging my friend Saher in Gaza for weeks now on Instagram (@ saher.sendawi), but as much I have been sharing his campaign on Instagram, I only have limited reach, and the campaign has been stagnating for weeks now. if you reblog nothing else I ever post, I urge you to reblog this, and help Saher and his sisters in Gaza.
my blog is only small, but even if 10 people reblog this, Saher's chances of survival will be increased.
thank you all 🍉❤️🖤💚🤍

Note: My Old account was restricted by Tumblr and this is my new account. Please continue to boost my campaign and help me get out of the hell of Gaza and acheive my dreams in Ireland. Thank you! Sarah Abo Hwidy.
Vetted by association (Mahmoud khalaf) here.
Before the genocidal war on Gaza, I was immersed in university life and enjoyed studying English literature at the Islamic University in Gaza (IUG), which was utterly destroyed by Isr*ael. They destroyed the place that helped me find my passion: performing on stage in English.
My family and I have been displaced multiple times and we ended up now in a tent that does not protect us from any bullets, shrapnel, or the cold and rain of winter. I had never thought I would have to live in such hellish conditions at the age of 20, an age at which I was expecting to be studying at university and enjoying the company of my friends like any other girls my age around the world!!!
Amid the pain, horrors of war and many near death experiences, luckily, I was awarded a scholarship to do a BA in English Language and Literature at Mary Immaculate College in Ireland. A glimmer of hope shone in my sky, happiness rushed strongly through my veins, and a voice within me roared: "A unique destiny awaits you, Sarah. Seize this opportunity, honor your people abroad, and use your talent to tell the world about Palestine and touch their hearts."
I am literally at a crossroads at this stage in my life. I could keep running from a place to another with my family searching for safety and wasting years of my life without education. Or, you could help me evacuate with my family to Egypt and then go to study at Mary Immaculate College in Ireland.
Please do NOT decide to look away and send my only opportunity for a good education to go with the winds. Please boost my campaign by:

You are my only hope of saving my family and pursuing my education in Ireland! Please boost my campaign and light a candle in the middle of the darkness in my world! Every single day is a horror movie for us here in Gaza and we are scared all the time! Literally all the time!

The Ashour family consists of Amal ( @amalashuor ), her husband and baby Maryam, as well as extended family on both sides and all of their children.
They are almost entirely out of money because of how expensive it is to provide for a family of 3, let alone 20+ people. Whether it is the threat of another attack, the dropping weather temperatures, or the prices for survival, they rely on your generosity to ease their suffering.
While the border remains closed, the priority is to help them afford food, medicine, warm clothes, diapers, baby formula and other daily expenses. They require at least €5,000 per month, and these funds are all they have to survive.
It's great to see this surpass €55k, but the donations are still at their slowest. Please consider that more than 20 people including children in this family are relying on this fundraiser. That is a lot of milk, pampers, food, water, medicine, clothes and shelter to provide. So please do what you can to help them!!
I hope this has changed as I queue this post, please boost and donate what you can!!!
PLEASE HELP THIS FAMILY AND DONATE!!!!
How to help:

Suad has reached out to me to share her story with you, and I hope you will help it reach more people. Please follow her blog @suad-khaled , read and reblog her pinned post, and donate what you can.
Suad is a young mother to baby Khaled, who was born during the genocide in Gaza. Their family faces constant displacement, bombings and daily threats to their lives as well as severe malnutrition and disease. Khaled suffers from a viral chest infection and struggles to breathe due to the air pollution from the bombs. Financial pressures and lack of available resources makes it difficult to afford his medication, treatment, formula, diapers, food and warm clothes.
Please give what you can so Suad can provide her child with the care he desperately needs. They are just over halfway to their goal but donations have slowed down to an alarming pace.
