Hairy Tangle from Tangle Creations

Portability 4/10: it’s too big for a pocket and the hairs may collect lint if tossed in a bag.

Noise 8/10: very quiet, the hairs make a soft rustling sound.

Personal score 10/10: I love this thing. The texture is great, the movement is great, would recommend.

Scentsory Putty from Crazy Aarons

Portability 6/10: it’s small enough to fit in a pocket. Lower score because I always worry about putty leaking and making a mess so I don’t take it places.

Noise 8/10: popping air bubbles in the putty makes noise but otherwise it’s quiet.

Personal score 8/10: out of all the putty I have this one is my favorite. The Scentsory texture is very smooth and soft, plus it smells good.

Fidget Slug

Portability 4/10: it is too big for a pocket and would probably be rattling around in your bag if you took it places.

Noise 2/10: very loud. The sound it makes is a pleasant clacking, but it is not quiet at all.

Personal score 5/10: it’s very cute and I like the noise it makes. Doesn’t provide much sensory input for me.

Wooden Fidget Blocks

Portability 9/10: small enough to fit in a pocket or in one hand if folded up.

Noise 6/10: The wood clacks against itself but it’s not bad.

Personal score 8/10: good for keeping my hands busy. I like the movement of it and snapping it back and forth.

Sensy Band from Mindware

Portability 7/10: It’s a slap bracelet so you can wear it on your wrist to keep your hands free. It’s bulky for a bracelet though.

Noise 7/10: it only makes noise when putting it on. If you don’t bend/unbend it then it is quiet.

Personal score 5/10: it feels high quality and is durable. I do enjoy the texture but wearing it as a bracelet is uncomfortable for me. If you’re someone who wears jewelry regularly then it might not bother you.

Fidget Cube from Antsy Labs

Portability 10/10: very small and not noticeable. Can easily fit in one hand or in a pocket.

Noise 7/10: The switch button is kinda loud but everything else is quiet. Not silent, but quiet.

Personal score 7/10: it’s good to keep your hands busy but it doesn’t give me much sensory input.

Simpl Dimpl from Fat Brain Toys

Portability 10/10: comes on a keychain so you can clip it to whatever. Small enough to fit in one hand or a pocket.

Noise 5/10: I like the noise but it is not quiet

Personal score 9/10: seems high quality and durable. I enjoy that it takes a bit more force to pop. I also like the raised logo gives extra tactile feedback.

Sensory Stixx from Sensory University

Portability 7/10: a little big for a pocket but is still small.

Noise 10/10: absolutely silent.

Personal score 10/10: Great texture. the silicone is firm which gives a lot of tactile input. It’s very durable and is safe to chew but I haven’t used it for that purpose.
