I feel like once you hit your mid thirties, people tend to forget that teenagers and young adults are..... teenagers and young adults. Like yes, 13-17 year olds are minors but they're not children anymore, they're teenagers. Especially 16 and 17 year olds. They're either in or going into their final years of high school, they're not babies.

And 18-19 year olds? Those are high school graduates now. Even if they're still teenagers, they're adults and they should be treated as such. That's not an 18 year old boy, that's an adult man. That's not a young girl, that's a 19 year old woman.
