Costume designed by Travilla for Susan Hayward in Valley of the Dolls (1967). This suit was originally designed for Judy Garland as Helen Lawson, but she was fired before her scenes were filmed, and Hayward took over the role. However, Garland took the version of the suit that was made for her, and later wore it at several of her concerts.
