I don't think I remember there being much mention about the issue of privacy concerning the swordians. The only thing that comes to mind is Leon bathing with Chal. But it has to be something they've all had to work through and decide boundaries on. Changing clothes, bath, toilet, jerking it, and if fanfic: various levels of intimacy with partner.

On that side, a lot of us just kinda tend to ignore the swordians when it comes to intimacy lmao we just skip over the part where they have to figure out a way to ditch the swords for a while; they're just conveniently absent.

Leaving their swordians with someone else for the night or a random part of the evening is a pretty obvious tell in itself. Not only would the swordians know, but whoever they leave them with would pick up on it eventually too. Unavoidably announcing that they're off to knock boots.

The only other alternative is just letting whichever swordians are involved be around or nearby. They're already going to know anyway, so there's not much point in trying to be sneaky about it.

My perception of how many words I've written is always skewed. I write in plain notepad, because of course that's where I started writing as a kid, and it's just more comfortable. So there is no visible word or page counter in the first place.

But I've also gotten older and my eyesight has gotten worse, so I've had to increase the font size a lot over the years to keep from squinting, and shrink the window size because my peripheral has shrunk and it's just easier to parse in a smaller space. So I see a smaller scrolly bar and think ":O Look at how much I've written! There's gotta be at least 800 words there. I've done so well!" and then I go to post it and it's maybe half that at best and I feel bad for posting something that doesn't even take up one page on AO3 with my stupid 120% zoom.

｡ﾟ(ﾟ´ω`ﾟ)ﾟ｡ I've always wanted to participate in specific-fandom-based secret santa events, or even just straight up trades since I was a kid, but I can't really offer anything. The things I can write about are so narrow, and faking it is always obvious. Even if I were given a prompt about something I'm super passionate about... I can't even reliably write 1k words about the things I personally and desperately want to see :D There's no way I could write it for someone else.

Maybe one day I'll grow to be able to do it. Maybe.

Finally found the 4koma that was mentioned a while ago where Stahn thinks it's cool that Leon's left-handed. (And he wishes he also had a cool secret that made people think of him differently) Was missing the context that Leon was hiding that fact and wielding right-handed until the fight with Greybaum where his right arm got slashed up.

It follows a flashback where he's training with Finley to learn to use his right hand because left-handed swordsmen are looked upon disfavorably (specified to be a Seinegald thing, though other countries' views aren't mentioned), and Hugo's been really drilling it into him. Finley gifts him a dagger to continue using his left hand for swordsmanship in some way, until the day he's able to live as himself. (And there's a long dramatic inner monologue about fighting as himself alongside the people who made him forget about his hatred for Hugo, which I guess would be neat if it was a free action and Stahn wasn't actively getting kicked around the battlefield while Leon's busy monologuing (　´_ゝ`))

I encourage you to cast canon aside unless the material you're drawing from explains his skill well. I also encourage this regarding all the lethal chefs of the Tales series, as I refuse to believe anyone is that bad, especially without knowing, unless they have a condition like no/altered/very strange sense of taste.

I haven't actually looked into it yet, but... what even is the premise for Tales of Link and Tales of Asteria? In regards to the crossover elements. RM and Rays had them taken from their worlds, Crestoria had them all having existed in the same world under different circumstances. So where do Link and Asteria fall on that?

I use the word "beautiful" too much. But I use it all the time in real life, too. Something has to meet some kind of unknown criteria to be "pretty" or "handsome", but everything is "beautiful". (And for me, "pretty" and "handsome" aren't even weighted toward femme or masc. I don't know how my brain works.)

I think it started with hearing Cam Clarke's cover of Rainy Night House. The way he sung the lyric "You called me 'beautiful'" was… I don't have words to describe it. But it touched my heart.

So uh. I'm sorry if I have Stahn call Leon "beautiful" too many times, but you can technically blame Kratos for it. lol

But maybe I shouldn't hold back about it. The GBF collab implies that Stahn caonically thinks Leon is cute, and has said so to his face at least once to find out that he has a violent reaction to being called cute (and it didn't stop him from thinking Leon is cute, enough so that he doesn't mind telling other people). So maybe it's not too bad to also write him using other words.

( ㅍ _ㅍ) Ughhhh... Remake made so many good and so many bad changes. The manga adaptation of Leon's Side also makes a lot of good and a lot of bad changes... I have a love/hate relationship with it. Sorry, I complain a lot past the cut.
