Everybody calls her an “aunt” so I’ll go with that I guess!

Hooray! The perfect aunt who just so happens to be the boss of a cat gang! And for some reason, CC doesn’t like her at all...

If anybody doesn’t get this by now, my headcannon is that CC adopts Mu! So here we go!

Getting Mu to eat her veggies is a challenge. But somehow, by an unknown force of magic, CC manages it??? (Hat Kid is still trying to investigate the cause of this)
Mu hates fish because of the Mafia. But eventually, CC gets her to warm up to it! Not all fish though. Some Mu will just not touch at all (Like tuna or halibut, the Mafia’s main shipping fish).
CC knows her daughter very well! So she does not force Mu to wear any clothes she doesn’t want to wear. That includes dresses and overly ‘girly’ clothes. She instead gets new hoods for Mu! She knows they’re her favorite.
Does Mu ever show her appreciation to CC? The answer is yes, yes she does. Whether it is a holiday or not (like Mother’s Day), Mu will go out of her way to steal things that CC might like! Of course, CC might have a slight objection to this...
Is there any bonding time with cooking? You bet! Mu is actually very good a baking more so than cooking. But CC helps her along the way!
Ruffles and scratches on the head is how CC and Mu show their affection as mother and daughter! CC will ruffle Mu’s hood and in return Mu scratches CC on the head! How cute~
Mu doesn’t like it when CC hugs her in public. Not because she doesn’t like it all together, but because she thinks it’s ‘embarrassing’. But Mu makes up for it by hugging CC back when no one is watching!
CC doesn’t usually have to worry about bullies. Mu can take can of them herself! But if a big, scary adult tries to hurt/make fun of her daughter? That person has just signed their own death warrant...
Mu keep her hair up most of the time because it is so long. But sometimes, she lets it down so CC can brush and braid it! CC likes to make Mu’s hair look pretty with flowers, bows, and hair accessories. But CC makes sure not to put in too much, since Mu doesn’t like her hair looking ‘too girly’.
CC is quick to forgive Mu for what she did, while others are not so sure. But eventually CC shows them what a sweetie Mu can be! ~~Once you get over the fact that she took over the world, that is...~~
CC has cute little nicknames for Mu! She’ll call her daughter things like creampuff, sugarpie, honey/sugar, etc. And Mu simply calls CC ‘Mum’ or ‘Mummy’! (Since she’s British and all that) Mu only calls CC ‘Mother’ when she is in trouble.
Bedtime stories? Bedtime stories. CC will read Mu fairy tales about knights and dragons, since those are her favorites! However, there’s only one exception. That exception being the children’s book that CC has kept ever since she was a little kitten, “Sweet Dreams Kitty Kat Jr.”. Mu thinks the book is a bit too cutesy for her, but she listens anyways to make CC happy!

Fear of Infection (Monster AU)

So I love @teenytinyhatkid‘s Monster AU to death (haha get it???) and this idea for a short~~ish~~ story would not leave me alone (and this took way too pecking long to write asdfjks). Premise is that Hat Kid is acting strange in the monster house which leads to almost everybody freaking out and investigating. And it turns out that Hat Kid isn’t all what she seems...

Warning! Bloody (and possibly gory) descriptions of animal corpses. No human gore though, so you’re safe there! Enjoy the angst!

It was like any other normal day outside. The sun was shining brightly, the spring flowers were all in bloom, and the air was filled with chirping birds. A small hatted child was running in the backyard of a small house, laughing as she ran through the freshly cut grass. Another child came close behind her, they were both playing a fun game of tag. As the two children laughed and played in the backyard of their home, one particularly tall adult watched over them. He kept a look out, making sure that the two young girls wouldn’t get into any trouble. As he watched, another adult was planting in the garden not too far away. The sun was shining down on her straw hat as she planted the herbs and vegetables. Yes, all was perfectly normal in this household. The werewolf pup playing chase with the human child, the vampire keeping watch over them, and the witch gardening…

Well, perhaps “normal” wasn’t the right term.

Any Cooking Cat headcanons?

You bet I do! Who doesn’t love CC? :3

In case anybody forgot, my headcannon name for her is Martha! I think it suits her quite well~
Her favorite spice is cinnamon. She loves to bake cinnamon buns and snickerdoodles! She also enjoys drinking cinnamon tea, it’s her favorite!
She’s always wanted children of her own, but can’t seem to find a soulmate just yet. So eventually she adopts Mu as her child! The two are practically inseparable.
After the events of Hat Kid saving the world, Mafia Boss hires CC as top chef! And thanks to a bit of Hat Kid’s…ahem…convincing, she now has a steady job.
CC is actually a stray (basically, she’s homeless). Since the Mafia took over, she lost her home and doesn’t have a place to stay. So Hat Kid let’s her stay on her ship! CC shows her appreciation by cooking for Hat Kid and teaching her how to cook.
She’s lactose intolerant, but that doesn’t stop her from eating or using dairy products.
Want a hint of advice? Never. Make. Cat Momma mad. She will chase you with a frying pan and teach you a lesson.
Despite her cheeriness and kind nature, she isn’t a push over. She can and will be assertive when she needs to be. (She kinda has to with Mu as her adoptive child)
Her parents? Sadly, they’re both deceased (due to age). Cats only have so many lives…but she has an even bigger family now!
She likes baking sweets for everyone! Especially the Conductor, wink wink (I ship SugarRush a ton)
The only people she doesn’t get along with are some of the Mafia and the Lazy Paw Gang (the thief cats in Alpine Skylines). The Mafia took her home (and are terrible cooks) and the Lazy Paw Gang are, in her words, “nothing but troublemakers”.
She gets along with Grooves very well! The two have a big passion for fish and like to swap recipes. Shame nobody else can try some of these recipes though. Some people just can’t stomach raw fish.
