And the Alistair rework is (finally) done 🫠 This one gave me by far the most trouble. I had to rework the lighting which made me have to pretty much repaint his armor AND I made the original painting on the wrong color profile and had to spend forever color correcting when switching it over to the right one 🥲

i’m literally only halfway through the game but Neve Gallus is one of the Characters of all time. she’s a quick-talking private detective. she’s an ice mage. she has a flirtatiously antagonistic relationship with a local guard. she helps children find their lost dogs. she hasn’t eaten a vegetable in years. she wears cunty hats. she’s the saviour of the city. she throws herself into the line of fire without a single thought. she has a prosthetic leg. she gets cockblocked by magic wisps. she casually mentions a novel is based on one of her cases and then refuses to elaborate. half of her friend group is trans. her favourite food is fried fish (it’s the only thing she eats). she gives people cute nicknames. she’s lived in the same town since she was born. she’s the love of my life.

I love how the game tries to convince you that the First Warden is so unreasonable and annoying and a pisser when Rook talks to everyone like a flat earther. Like going up to your county sheriff and saying "hold all your calls. We need to focus on the real problem: Zeus and Aphrodite from Greek Mythology are in the White House and they have the nuclear missile codes" it's a wonder he didn't just kill them on the spot

So many of you punched this guy and you're SO right this is objectively the funniest conclusion to all of this. Making mortal enemies with this guy before he biffs it. Rook is sexy stupid strong as fuck and CORRECT

Reminder to be kind to the writers/devs as they’re beholden to a much larger company that makes the big choices as far as what they do with the final product. Don’t forget, we almost got live-service online multiplayer DAV. They remade it from scratch, YEARS into the production just to give us what we actually wanted, a single player narrative-driven game.

Rooks saying “we can play cards” with Spite after the romance scene is hilarious to me because it’s got to be the most awkward card game ever knowing that demon witnessed them get railed by Lucanis moments prior.
