I had to do Hunter and Lyra from the longfic, but this is how I see them should they get married in the future. ;)

I love twi'leks so much. i love twi'lek ocs so much. I literally have mine and I love her so much but I feel like I never talk about her as much as mari. like zeeta is actually so beautiful and so edgy and badass and cool and I need to make more art of her in situations because shes awesome and I love her.
I feel like I need to take a page out of your book when it comes to hyping up my OCs. 🤣 I’m out here like, “Yeah, the fan artists make Lyra so gorgeous! She’s just plain though. Nothin to write home about. Kinda an old soul but in more of a boring way. A lil frumpy, a lil breezy, a lil anxious… Kind of a coward. Makes dorky jokes and then guffaws at them herself. But she cooks really well!” 💀💀💀
This touches my heart sososososoooo much, because Rae was the first one to ever bless me with fanart when I first joined this site. I was shamelessly begging artists to draw a specific undercover casino scene from my first fanfic, Tech and Vel, and she took it on. It was so amazing to see a scene come to life visually and not just verbally.
So here we are, a bit over a year later, and she's graced us again with a sweet, tender little scene from the Hunter fic!
Look at his sweet little face! Oh my LORD. And fanartists are exceedingly kind to my plain old Lyra, making her look just so beautiful and stunning. And look at his soft gaze! And his delicious forearm! And the perfect tattoos!
Every single piece of artwork from my writing is such an incredible gift. Eternal gratitude to all of you who see something you like and bring it to life in your own unique style. I've got a few more pieces from this fic to share, but they're a bit spoilery so I'm gonna hold out on em for now. ;)

Her favorite TV show would be The Great British Bake-Off. ;)
I think jasmine would most capture her vibe. Considered a weed by some, LOL, it's small and unassuming, but has a gentle, comforting fragrance. It's not much to look at, initially, but has a simple beauty once you have the time or inclination to really look at it.
The stock image in the header doesn't really capture her body, just her face. She's got a fairly common body type for a middle-aged woman -- a little extra softness all around, slightly pear-shaped, self-conscious about the way her upper arms hang when she holds them out... A soft belly that she hides behind loose, flowy clothing. Hands that are no longer small and dainty but shaped and marked by life.

Alrighty, here’s Lyra from the upcoming Hunter fic.
1. Her wound is having been too trusting and tried to do the right thing, but it all blew up in her face. So she has been thoroughly shaken to the core, finds it hard to trust, and has a bit of a resigned personality to avoid being hurt or stumbling into trouble again.
2. If she HAD to be at a party, she’d be standing awkwardly near the food with a small smile on her face, open to chatting but not seeking it out. Mostly just grazing. 😂
3. She has a color palette and mood boards aplenty! 🤓

I hope Lyra is wildly relatable to a lot of you. She's fairly plain. Reaching her mid 40's. Trying to be okay with her smile lines and crow's feet. Doesn't think she's fun or sparky enough to capture anyone's attention and doesn't really stand up for herself when she should. But she's got a steadfast, gentle spirit. She makes delicious stuff in the kitchen. And she's got a penchant for saying things that she thought were funny but might come across a little awkward.

Lyra would probably struggle to choose one thing, cause that seems like such a big ask… but she’d probably decide that something like “living in peace and calm” is the most important thing in the world for her. 💕
A hobby is COOKING. This woman can cook and bake the most savory and sweet goodness. And it’s delicious and you can’t help but eat it all, so she’s got a bit of softness to her, although this picture doesn’t show it. 😜
Her Starbucks order would be… I shudder to write this cause I hate tea… but she’d probably be all about something like chamomile tea with a little bit of cream and sugar. 🥴

The first book that comes to mind for her would be Baking the Best in the Galaxy: An Official Cookbook. 😜 But she probably would conveniently forget about the Pride and Prejudice sort of novel that she’s read about 14 times.
My favorite trait about her is her gentleness. 🥹
A weakness of hers would be that she has a sense of resignation, like she’s kinda settled for being “old and boring” after some twists and turns that left her feeling helpless. She doesn’t see much of her own worth or potential.
