eeeeeee I'm so excited to share this! It's a literal dream come true. I spent a long time trying to decide which fanartist's style would be most fitting for the story vibes, and holy cow, it could not be more perfect! so, without further ado, may I please present the incredible work of @pinkiemme with the banner for my upcoming Hunter fic! 😍

I could go on about it forever but I really had a certain feeling that I hoped it would portray, from the characters to the details to the overall atmosphere... And Maria knocked it out of the park! 😭

I've been so overwhelmed and grateful with ALL the incredible fanart for this story, and I really can't wait to share the full thing with you all. I have to constantly fight the temptation to start posting it before I'm finished, but I want to make it the best it can be, so I wanna complete it and make sure everything connects/flows/ties up neatly. Plus, I'm hoping to keep it canon-compliant as a happily-ever-after for Hunter... with a few twists and turns along the way. 😏

Also... I've been inspired by @wrenkenstein's world of JunTech, and there's a wealth of fanart, mood boards, and fun stuff for this story, so if there's interest, and a way that I could highlight, showcase, and promote additional artists and writers... Perhaps we could create a zine?! 🫢 Maybe once the story releases, if there are scenes to draw or ways for writers to have fun in that world... Hi peeps!! I'm gonna try something a little different since the tumblr tag list is pain in my buttholes.

I've created a Discord server to function solely as a tag list (not general chatting). There are channels for the Hunter fic, one-shots, and other stuff as needed. And all fic engagement will still be kept to Tumblr. :)

Lyra would probably struggle to choose one thing, cause that seems like such a big ask… but she’d probably decide that something like “living in peace and calm” is the most important thing in the world for her. 💕

A hobby is COOKING. This woman can cook and bake the most savory and sweet goodness. And it’s delicious and you can’t help but eat it all, so she’s got a bit of softness to her, although this picture doesn’t show it. 😜

Her Starbucks order would be… I shudder to write this cause I hate tea… but she’d probably be all about something like chamomile tea with a little bit of cream and sugar. 🥴

I love reading what I’ve written.

It’s literally the one area of my life where I feel competent. And I work hard at it too.

When I share something I’ve created, I want to be able to unabashedly be like, “Look!! I think this is awesome and I think you will too!” 🥹

Is it gonna be for everyone? No. And that’s okay. But why would I drag it down? There will always be growth and improvement to be had. But we can also give ourselves a little credit along the way. 💕 And even if it doesn’t get the reach or reception you hope for… Can you at least enjoy it? Otherwise, what’s the point? 😜

She grew up on Coruscant. Born and raised until she had to get out of there as an adult.

She’d probably be too paralyzed to do anything in a fight, to be honest. She’s a huge coward and hates that about herself, but has had enough trouble in her life to know that she would rather just avoid anything and everything if possible.

But it’s alright. If he’s honest, Hunter likes being able to be a bit protective. She makes him feel strong and competent, without all the burden and pressure of his former life as a soldier. Although there’s a particular situation where he wishes she would have a bit more fortitude…

Ok I’ll share, for those of you who are new (to me, LOL):

I love pretty much everything about TBB. I’m easy to please. But I love the balance of character and plot, compelling storytelling and humor, beauty and intensity. I can’t wait for the new season and am pretty sad it’s gonna be the end. I really hope it ends happily.

I’m a writer! I’d say my stuff is heartwarming and entertaining, with a fun blend of imagery, emotion, and humor that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy. I’m big on illuminating the sweet moments in life — first love, deep connection, playful friendship, and thrilling adventure. My goal in writing is to make you feel like you’re there, make it really hard to stop reading, and leave you feeling moved in the best, most positive ways. 🥹

I have a collection of one-shots and poetry, but I think my best works are the long fics featuring Tech, Howzer, Crosshair (over on @spicy-clones), and now Hunter!

There are so many nuances to this! I prefer OCs for full fics, if they’re engaging and well written. Especially if there’s lots of world building and a whole adventure/character arc!

Reader inserts are fun for fluff (and other stuff sometimes). 😏

I’m surprised at the number of votes that don’t care for either? What, do you just not like to read? 🙈

I’ll be honest I read a lot of OCs as reader inserts. I know that isn’t how you’re technically supposed to do it, but a well written OC can have the ability to pull you in like that.

As a writer, I prefer OCs for longer stories cause I hate using Y/N and writing in second person.

Yessss! I love making OCs as relatable as possible! It's tricky, because you want them to be distinct, but yeah. It's a fun process!

The only time x Reader worked for a long fic was in Sharp Edges, which was intended to be a one-shot request and somehow turned into a full work because Crosshair and Reader just had so much charisma, connection, and chemistry... and a whole plot developed (as well as a lot of spicy scenes, hahah). And a satisfying fix-it ending helped too!
