OMG, look at Carole and Fredric March on the set of Nothing Sacred.  I wish I could find larger photos.  That must have been one of the most fun sets of all time.

original lobby cards for The Eagle and the Hawk (1933), directed by Stuart Walker.  Stu was born in Augusta, Kentucky, and had 12 director credits from 1931 to 1935.  His other notable credits include a 1934 version of Great Expectations, and Werewolf of London, both starring Henry Hull.  He never worked with such a strong cast as in The Eagle and the Hawk.

Jack Oakie, Fredric March, Cary Grant, Guy Standing, and Carole Lombard in The Eagle and the Hawk (1933).  Jack’s entries among my best 1,001 movies are Alice in Wonderland (1933, as Tweedle Dum), and Thieves Highway.
