so I watched the last episode and I cried (obv) and let me tell you: as much as I love Arthur slowly realizing that he was and is in love with Merlin once he is back (cause slow burn is actually what I live for), the realization of being in love™️ hitted him STRONG during the "I am born to serve you Arthur" speech. Like. After being all heart eyes and "I want you to always be you" or "JUST HOLD ME", bitch, he can't come back and play it off like "ya know it was the fact that I was in crazy pain and delirious, no homo, definitely no homo". He fully realized he was in love with Merlin so he has to ease Merlin's long suffering, come back and fucking kiss him
