I traced it from various screencaps and photos but I feel no shame at all... my first Spirk since 2012 (or 2010 even).
this is what peak performance looks like
Oh, you mean in a fight
the T in James T. Kirk stands for Titties
important to note that vulcans are like three times as strong as humans and this is in part because vulcan has a higher gravity than earth and their flesh is straight up way fucking denser than human flesh
so I don’t know how heavy our boy spock is but he’s Even Heavier than the average GROWN MAN would be standing on kirk’s back
remember when Jim introduced Spock to his own parents lmao we stan a legend
They definitely brought this story up during the wedding.
Sarek did it.
“Not so many know, but once James introduced me to my own son…”
Funny as that is, this reads as an absolute POWER MOVE to a father not proud of his son. “Look at that, he’s my First Officer because he’s AWESOME. You know who isn’t? You.”
No no no. You don’t understand. Kirk DOESN’T KNOW that this is Spock’s father. He’s talking up his first mate to the Vulcan Ambassador that Spock never bothered to mention is his DAD because their father-son relationship is THAT BAD. This is a power move but it’s not Kirk’s, it’s Spock’s XD
You take one look at that vulcan salute and tell me it isn’t the BIGGEST shit-eating grin
🖖 (derogatory)
That is a man saying, “My eyebrows are pointier than yours, my haircut more severe, my shirt more ironed. You are a relatively minor guest on this starship, while I am the second in command. You said I was a disgrace, yet here I stand. 🖖 Your move.”
the full clip, feature bones’s complaints

James T Kirk explained in 3 sentences, ladies and gentlemen.

So basically, Jim Kirk is a cat.
the thing about william shatner being pissed about the concept of bi!kirk is so funny to me because like. bill this is your fault. you were the one who looked at leonard nimoy like you wanted to eat him. you did that
Do you understand me?
(Somewhat of a translation):
[...ve] tell Gene something of our recent interview with Bill and Leonard - touching on the Kirk-Spock relationship, and Nimoy's feeling that Kirk was essential to Spock's life:
'I know you've told us you designed that relationship as "two halves which come together to make a whole" Is that how you still see it?'
Gene:
"Oh, yes. As I've said, I definitely designed it as a love relationship. I think that is what we're all about - love, the effort to reach out to each other. I think that's a lovely thing. Also, dramatically, I designed Kirk and Spock to complete each other, and, in fact, the Kirk, Spock, McCoy triad to be the dramatic embodiment [to] the parts of one person: logic, emotion, and the bal[...] between them. You cannot have an internal monologue on screen, so that is a way of personifying it, getting it out where it can be seen - that internal debate which [we] all have within. And, I designed Kirk and Spock [as I] told you, as dream images of myself, the two [halves] in terms of the characters, yes. That close[r...] ly."
A tag just reminded me that Vulcans kiss with their hands and now I’m shook
No wonder Bones looks so uncomfortable he’s watching them make out ashashakhaJKDJKADH
can I request more spirk fluff pls
“You writing me a song?”
Spock looked up from his lute, his fingers not pausing in their dance across the strings as he turned his attention to the man entering their shared quarters.
“Jim, I am tuning the instrument,” Spock replied dryly, and Kirk laughed.
“Well then, write me a song?” he asked.
Spock looked at his bondmate, at the way his eyebrows drew up and emphasized his fond eyed gaze. His lips, curling at the ends in a faint smile. Jim had once informed him of the many small details of his own visage that functioned as emotional tells.
“Well, there’s that eyebrow of yours but everyone knows that,” he said. “But you also give the faintest of smiles if you know where to look for them. You get more stiff when you’re nervous, and when you’re relaxed or tired your back bends ever so slightly…”
Spock’s face remained impassive as he looked at Jim, the pair of them laying facing each other in bed. The vulcan’s hair was still in a state of disarray that Jim Kirk had the divine pleasure of witnessing every morning.
“Truly? My father would be most disappointed to hear my lack of discretion as to my emotional state.”
“I don’t think anyone else can tell,” Jim sighed. “It makes me… upset to hear them talk about you ‘cold-hearted and unfeeling’, they don’t know you.”
“Those are not entirely considered insults in vulcan society, Jim.”
“I know, I understand that but… you control your emotions, but you still feel so much pride and love for this crew, they should know that from how you act,” Kirk sighed, running a hand over Spock’s cheek. “They should know what you do for them.”
Spock thought now that maybe the good captain was unaware of his own tells, of how he had been keeping his distance since he entered the room and was playing absentmindedly with the hem of his sleeve. He was not feeling as cheerful as his words and smile tried to convince him he was. Spock nodded slightly, and began to play a tune.
Kirk beamed as Spock played for him, and finally relaxed enough to lean against the desk nearby and draw closer to where Spock sat playing. The song came to an end, and Spock looked up at Jim.
“There is your song.”
“You wrote that just now?” Kirk asked, surprised.
“I confess a… prior wish to compose a piece for you,” Spock said, and it was the final thing Kirk needed to hear for the smile on his face to become genuine.
