She also was in Eagle vs Shark, Whale Rider, Boy and she directed the Globe to Globe production of Troilus and Cressida. I am 99% sure I would walk through fire for Rachel House. I love her.

I love Rachel House so much, she’s just fantastic. She’s been in I believe all of Taika Waititi’s films besides What We Do in the Shadows, as well as a bunch of other NZ-based films, and worked as an acting coach for the children on Boy and a dialogue coach for Ricky Baker in Wilderpeople. She’s been directing theatre productions in NZ for over a decade, and does Māori version of Shakespeare plays - including directing a Māori version of Troilus and Cressida in the Globe Theatre in London. She’s been winning theatre awards in New Zealand since 1995. In the past two years she’s been awarded a Women in Film & Television NZ Mana Wāhine Award and was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit by the Queen. She’s just a super great all-rounder in film and theatre and I’m very excited to see her getting some recognition on my dashboard.
