Polnareff: I’m in Spain but the ‘a’ is silent Giorno: Qué? Polnareff: *stands*
Stands from memory, they totally all looked like this trust me
frog machine
[ID: an old-fashioned coffee machine whose exterior is shaped like a frog. /end ID].
ID: Several different realistic, colorful artworks of animals with fantastical elements, all in white background, as follows
1: A dragon in a mix of chinese and european styles. They are green with blue fur growing along their spine, horns, and a long, flowing, catfish-style pair of whiskers, and have front and back legs. They are floating in a way that makes it look as if they’re sitting. They hold a chinese teapot with their long tail, dropping its contents into a cup that they hold in their humanlike hands. Their expression is pleased and serene, and there is a little fox perched on the base of their tail, with their tongue out, watching them.
2: A dragon with similar form, except their body is longer and red with golden details and grey spikes instead of fur on their spine, is shown from underneath, their body twisted in a kind of S shape. They hold open a book from which blue tendrils of magic emanate. The dragon looks hostile, and there’s a very small fox that seems to be barking on top of their head.
3: A turquoise fox with eight pink tails is lying on their back, cushioned by said tails. They look very pleased, and their eyes are closed.
4: Another fox, this time blue with a white outline of flowers decorating their face and legs, holds a teapot in their mouth. The teapot has been broken and then mended with gold, just like the fox itself, which has several gold mends alongside their body, including on one of their eyes. The pot they hold has a hole from which a golden liquid falls.
5: An ocelot with orange patterns that are filled in a bright yellow tone inside stares curiously at the viewer. They are mostly turned away from the viewer, except for their head. Partially obscured by their tail is a huge lemon slice.
6: Two jaguars, one orange with brown spots and another brown with dark grey spots, seem to float as if they were on their top legs. They are mirroring each other in position, and touching all their paws except for one of their frontal ones. Their tails are intertwined. The orange jaguar has their eyes closed, but the brown jaguar has them open, and they’re the same tone of orange as the other jaguar.
7: A tiger that seems to be floating peacefully. Their face is a lot higher than their back, but their legs are tucked under their body, as if they are lying down. Their stripes are black with lots of stars in them.
8: A white tiger, also with stars in their stripes, but the color of the stripes alternates between black, purple, and pink, in patterns and colors similar to the milky way. They are shown from their side, in an almost fully vertical position, looking behind them with a curious expression.
9: A lion in the same position as the previous tiger, but facing the opposite way. They have a sun pattern drawn on one of their back legs, and halos with sunrays around both their face and their mane
10: A mountain lion, who seems to be floating with their back legs and tail hovering higher than their face, looking curiously ahead. There are several blue rings like the ones seen in Saturn around their body. end ID
DCI Thomas Nightingale and PC Peter Grant, from the Peter Grant series. Been re-listening the audiobooks so I remember what happens before I get to the newest novels. Last time I drew those two was 2018!!

ANDREW GARFIELD as Caravaggio’s “Boy with Fruit” in Simon Schama’s The Power of Art (2006)
[ID: four gifs of actor Andrew Garfield, dressed up as like the boy in Caravaggio's painting "Boy with Fruit". Some of the gifs shows the fruits up close, others show Andrew Garfield's face. /end ID].
So you’ve got this bitch-ass fitted sheet that you would normally pile into a ball and shove into a closet so you won’t have to deal with it, yeah? Well. Quit acting like a piece of linen is better than you are. You can make a fitted sheet bend to your will. And here’s how…
First, put your sheet on the floor. Stand above it for a few seconds so it knows who’s boss.
Then, put your hand in the lower left corner so that it’s inside out. Do the same to the lower right corner.
Now, your lower left and right corners of the fitted sheet should be inside out. (Shoutout to Amy Poehler, love your work).
Then, take the lower left corner (that’s still inside out) and tuck it into the upper left corner. It should look like the picture above once you’re done. Then, do the same with your right corners.
It should look something like that. Right now, she’s your friend at the end of a good night out. Doesn’t look really bad, but you know she deserves better.
Pull at the corners until you get something like this shape, as it makes it easier to fold. You’ve given your friend some plain white bread and a glass of water. She’s looking much more presentable now.
Now, pull in at the elastic until you make a rectangle. You’ll want to tuck and smooth the excess fabric away from the elastic seams and towards the closed edge of the fitted sheet.
Once you’ve got a (semi) neat rectangle, fold the the top of the sheet down about a third of the way through. I like to fold the upper part of the sheet down first, because it’s not as straight of an edge as the bottom. You can find your own meaning within that description.
Now, fold the lower portion of the sheet on top of the part you’ve already folded down.
Fold the left side of the sheet into the middle, and then fold the right side of the sheet on top of what you just folded.
Congratulations. You just made a fitted sheet your bitch.
No but really, this has been the most complete and informative description of how to fold a fitted sheet I’ve ever seen. Very few that I’ve seen show the “bread and water” step.

As a Latine the whole Mothman story is SO funny because there's literally a local bird that fits 100% mothman's description
Meet the Mocho-Diabo! (Stygian Owl)
"Oh" you say "That's just a black owl what about it? It's missing a lot of features, like red eyes, ominous pose and-"
Don't tey to deny it, this is Mothman! A South American owl!
"but it's South American! It couldn't occur in West Virginia!"
So you think supernatural forces are more believable than actual bird trafficking?

A dash of vintage on your dashboard 🎥🎞
There are many others I still need to add to this list, but essentially, this is my happy place. The more vintage it gets, the happier I become 🖤
Hope you all have a great week ahead! 🍸
By popular demand, here's part 1 of the arms talking in the novelization of Spider-Man 2! So far of what I've read this is the only chapter where they talk but I'm not finished with the book so if they talk more I'll probably post those too :)
