The second largest country in the world just decriminalized homosexuality. The Supreme Court of india struck away a colonial era ban on gay sex. “History owes an apology to LGBT persons for ostracisation and discrimination; It is difficult to right a wrong by history. The story, the characters and the fact that half the cast of "Downton Abbey" was part of it (okay half might be a bit too much but who cares). I mean Lily James (Lady Rose) played the protagonist, Penelope Wilton (Mrs. Crawley) was part of it and in the German version also had the voice actress of Cher😍😍, Jessica Brown-Findlay (Lady Sybil Crawley) was the founder of the book club and Matthew Goode (Henry Talbot) was Lily James' publisher and best friend.
And they have a SPOILER canonly gay character in this movie ❤🏳🌈
