Kaiba currently stays at Jonou's apartment anytime he wants to relax, yes my boy learns to take it easy at his boyfriend's home.
But this time he's stuck with work. There's something he can't figure out so he's there stressed trying to fix it.
Jonouchi lets him be, he doesn't know shit of his work, or how long he's been dealing with that projext; he can only mind his own business and understand whatever Kaiba's complaining the whole time.
Suddenly Jonouchi pays attention to his rambling and reply without thinking too much. He says the simples thing which catches Kaiba's attention and everything goes silent for a second. Kaiba looks at his work, probably a laptop or something, and something clicks on him.
He finds the solution and everything seems clear to him now. He laughs like a maniac to it; Jonouchi is used to that weird laugh but can't avoid being curious about it.
Then Kaiba looks back at Jonou and shows a bright smile, "I'm starting to enjoy that simplicity of yours", Kaiba says as he's right back at his work.
Jonouchi is a bit confused but can't escape the warm feeling on his chest, while hides the urge to ask him for a kiss.
