Saw a video the other day where David was talking about shaving, and how he apparently doesn't like doing it (because he always cuts himself 😂). Then he mentioned how Stargate wanted Rodney to be clean shaved all the time and he was like, do I have to I'm just gonna cut myself cause I suck at it... Never paid much attention to it but, Rodney does normally have some nice 5o'clock shadowing.
So now I feel sad and cheated that we never got to see over worked, strung out, haven't slept in days Rodney with actual scruff. Like seriously? The city is under the threat of imminent doom for days, he doesn't have time to eat a freaking sandwich but no he still snuck away to shave real quick. Missed opportunity right there.

John's thoughts on facial hair were neither here nor there. He didn’t mind it, but it didn’t do anything for him either. Or so he'd always thought, until he sat down across from Rodney in the mess that second morning and thought, 'damn....scruff.'

John makes kissing feel like the main event, the whole goddamned point not just of fucking but of the universe, and sometimes they will lay around for literal hours before or after the sex part, just making out. Which makes it hard to notice or care about literally anything else.
