Thranduil & Túrin playing together in Doriath, for @tolkiengenweek —when I realized they could have been kids in Doriath at the same time, I had to draw them together.

This one also comes with a short accompanying fic about their meeting:

To Wear an Elven Crown

Thranduil had longed to meet the Adan since he had heard the first tales of his arrival in Doriath. His wish had displaced most other longings in his heart. If he could speak to an Adan, he could practice his Mannish and ask him about so many things, like the life of his people and the world outside the Fence. Beleg Cúthalion had found the Adan lost in the woods, and then King Thingol had adopted him! Thranduil had never heard of anyone adopting an Adan, let alone the king himself. If he were now Thingol's son, did that mean he was an Elf, as well as a Man?

Word count: 33,503 (so far) Pairing(s): Thranduil/Celegorm Characters: Thranduil, Celegorm, (little) Legolas, Oropher, Galion, minor OCs, possibly more to come… Warnings: Canon-typical violence, trauma, grief, implied nudity.

Summary: A mystery has come to the Greenwood: something—or someone—is slaying the great spiders with mad abandon. Thranduil is not sorry to see the creatures slain, but he must learn what force is responsible and keep it in check. For the spiders are vengeful, and the safety of his people comes first.

What Thranduil does not expect is that the identity of the killer will not only alter the very future of the Greenwood, but his own life, and that of his young son.

Notes: So far, no one has mentioned the fact that revenants is plural in my title... Just pointing that out, haha.

Also, I eventually raised the rating to Teen purely because of Celegorm being Celegorm.

Sorry this update took a bit longer than usual—I had to pause to work out my outline for the fic as a whole, to figure out how it would progress. It’s done, now!

For Celegorm’s day of @feanorianweek — a new chapter of my Celegorm-focused fic: Sons and Revenants.

In this chapter, as Thranduil confronts the identity of the stranger, the mystery of his appearance deepens, even as it grows clearer—and there is no denying the danger he presents.

In this chapter, the mystery of the stranger’s seems to have been solved, but the revelation only leads to greater difficulties.

Notes: The Mystery Elf is still a mystery, but will soon be revealed (and I did add more hints). No warnings to speak of, other than canon-typical violence and blood.
