Gwindor of Nargothrond. Elf-portrait. Watercolor painting.
For @tolkiengenweek it’s another portrait pairing: Broken Crown & Unstrung Harp. Yes, Maedhros and Maglor again, because I like to explore their relationship through matched paintings. (I posted a version of the Maedhros painting before, but I had to make them a set.) Watercolor & ink.
Túrin & Beleg. Watercolor.

Untitled Melkor Game: The War of the Goose. You see, the Goose reminded me a bit of Melkor, what with all the thieving and mayhem, and I thought Melkor would make a terrifying goose. (Featuring Fiery Duck Sauron.)
I wanted to draw something for Mermay this year, and since I’m on a Silmarillion kick, it ended up being Mer-Mairon and Mer-Melkor. The top drawing of Mairon was inked in pigment liners, and the other two are ballpoint pen drawings.
