David Attenborough: and this is the rarest creature, perhaps, just seen coming out of its hibernation station- oh look it’s givin us a smile; it takes him a moment to adjust to the lens, they’re quite blind things. Look’t it even exhibiting the traditional mating ritual via eyebrows.
Me: also me, suffering from writers block, then coming back outta nowhere with a bomb new piece
Roger Taylor & “Wot th’fawk”
Kinda maybe prompt reader passing out and roger being a full on biology geek that he is not letting anyone near them and gets snappy because "I know what I am doing go away "
“Go away, I know what I’m doing”
Gah I’m sorry this took me a hot sec to crank out! I kept restarting because I wasn’t happy with it, but I hope you enjoy the final product as much as I do! xx
(fluff & tension, not entirely historically accurate… hehe, enjoy my lovelies)
“Okay let’s go over…” You flipped over the review sheet in your hand, “Um- fractures, sure.” You impatiently shook your head, shrugging and dropping the paper in front of you.
Sat at a long table in the library on campus, you and your best friend, Nick, were going over concepts in an effort to cram for your kinesiology final. The pair of you were helping each other brush up on unfamiliar topics, but there were some you’ve avoided covering until the last while.
“Okay,” Nick agreed, reaching for his anatomy textbook.
Your leg was incessantly bobbing underneath the table until you noticed the water in your bottle beating with it.

___
You were twisting and massaging your hands as you sat on the couch nervously.
“Sooo, you didn’t do it?” Roger stood a few feet away, one hand on his hip, his other hand looking for clarity in front of him.
“Nope,” popping the ‘p’. Your eyes watched your folding fingers.
“But you had a dream you did?”
“Yes,”
“And you’re sure it was just a dream?”
“Yes, Rog!” You snapped, jolting your hands, wide eyes frozen on him.
“Alright, alright!” He raised defensive arms as you relaxed and slumped back into the couch. “I just need a minute to figure all this out, ‘wrap my head around it. Forgive me but this is bigger than just your and Brian’s relationship.” He was right, you had dragged him into the complicated matrix of secrets and lies, too.
There was a pause, broken by Roger huffing as he resumed pacing in his own thoughts again. You watched him cautiously.
“Rog, it’s gonna be okay,”
“Bollocks! How can you be so sure?” His voice deepened, quick to respond. You could clearly see his shoulders meet with his ears as he tensed up, doubtful and frustrated.
“I mean, it’s been, what-? five months, now?”
You took a deep breath as he went on.
