I went to Powell's today and I bought first edition/first printing copies of Mostly Harmless by Douglas Adams (now I only need a copy of Restaurant to complete the series in first editions), the Day of Creation by J.G. Ballard (one of my all-time favorite authors), and Sahara by Clive Cussler. They had a copy of The Vampire Lestat as well, but it was $60 and I couldn't swing it, unfortunately. That would've been an awesome addition to my collection. Oh, and I bought a copy of the Satanic Bible, which I've been wanting to read for a while now.

I like to think of these as rejected descriptions of Earth for the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
My #h2g2 #collection. I thought I had more than this, actually. I’ve given away a ton of copies to make #converts though. The #hardcover.s to the side are all #firstedition.
