My @kidrobot #tmnt #vinyltoy haul. Got #Donatello and #Michelangelo from the #blindbox, a Mikey #keychain and an #oozeaction #gid Mikey in a #blisterpack. Tons of great stuff, with all the Mikey I could ever want. Haha I also snagged an #Xmen #Wolverine #zipperpull
TMNT is my oldest and most beloved fandoms and because of this, I was willing to give Michael Bay a shot. But this trailer… I don’t have words for it. I’m so disappointed in how this is being done. I like the dark, gritty look of it, but the Turtles themselves look like roided out caricatures of who they were in the shows, movies, and comics. Everything about this is disappointing.
How could the new movie be any bit as good as the original?!?
I bought this on blu ray about a year ago and watched it for the first time in over a decade. I was really surprised by how good it was. In spite of my intense love for all things TMNT, I had always assumed that the movies were something I loved through with a child's eyes (which the 2nd and 3rd most certainly are).
