screaming into the void

Got the first three discs from Netflix as part of my race to see how many movies I can get from them before the DVD rentals end in September. The movies I got are:

Of these, I've only seen Bullet Train. I was too young for Scream when it came out and I only recently started getting into non-sci fi horror. Unfortunately, Scream was a DVD copy so I'll have to buy a blu ray copy later down the line but at least I can finally watch it. I'm not sure about the Menu, but every gifset I've seen has been unhinged in a way I enjoy so I'm looking forward to it.

The biggest part of movie collecting is rarely, if ever, paying full price for a movie. I've got about 500 movies in my collection and very, very few of them were bought full price. Most cost less than $10 each.

All that Netflix and chill stuff is fine, but I wanna netflix and spend two hours dissecting the film. Netflix and geeking out together about the themes and cinematography.

I’ve rated over 1,500 items on Netflix. lol I only rate stuff I’ve seen. And I know there’s plenty of stuff I’ve seen and never rated. I’ve probably seen over 2,000 different movies and tv shows. That’s fucking wild.

That’s one movie or show every 6 days since the day I was born. lol I may be high, but I think my math checks out. It doesn’t seem egregiously high all things considered. I’m actually kind of impressed.

I honestly love watching trailers before movies. Especially on indie or overlooked films. I find so much good stuff that way.
