This month I saw that the beauty box ‘Pink Parcel’ had an offer of your first box for £1. I have been curious about beauty boxes for a while and had wanted to try one. They always seem like good value considering what you get inside and the Pink Parcel also includes sanitary products and food items.

Pink Parcel is designed to be delivered around your period and includes your months supply of sanitary pads and/or tampons (you can also choose between brands as well). I received 15 daily pads, 5 night time ones and 5 panty liners. The box also includes a pre-paid bag for you to send back any unused tampons or pads, which are then donated to charities who provide sanitary products for women who cannot afford them.

It also includes a food item, normally in the form of chocolate or some sweets, and a tea or in this months case a coffee bag.

Each months box contains over £40 of beauty treats so the £12.99 per box is great value for money. The box was also delivered by Royal Mail and arrived on the date that I had picked.

Now let’s get into the beauty products you get!

Laritzy Cosmetics Dew Pot – Colour: Fine – Retail Price £20.00 (Laritzy site)

A multi-purpose product that can be applied to cheek, lips and eyes. In a subtle but shimmery rose shade, this can be built up to provide a metallic look or sparingly for a blusher.

English Laundry No7 – Retail Price £25.00 (English Laundry site)

A handbag size bottle of perfume with top notes of pear, jasmine, melon and apricot. Middle notes of gardenia, jasmine and almond. Base notes of sandalwood, vanilla, whipped cream and musk.

Oryza Beauty Dewy Glow Balm – Retail Price £11.95 (Oryza Beauty Site)

This dewy glow balm is another multi-purpose product that can be used as a highlighter or glossy balm for lips, skin and nails. The balm is enriched with jojoba oil, shea butter, vitamin E and has UVA/UVB protection.

Sebamed Mattifying Cream – Retail Price £5.69 (For 50ml) (Sebamed Site)

This cream is specially designed to target oily skin and breakouts. It is enriched with aloe vera and hyaluronic acid to help prevent spots and blackheads.

Spacemasks Self-Heating Eye Mask – Retail Price £3.50 for one (Feelunique.com)

At first I thought this was a face mask but it is actually a self heating mask for your eyes. With heat lasting for about 15 minutes, this mask helps to relax your eye muscles and has a delicate jasmine scent to help you relax.

This months food treats…

Lyons Coffee Bag No3 – £2.70 for a box of 18 bags (Waitrose)

Instead of a tea bag, this months is a coffee bag! Just brew the bag in hot water for 4-5 minutes for a fresh cup of coffee.

Candy Kittens Eton Mess – Retail Price £1.00 (Waitrose)

A summer favorite in a cat shaped sweet! I normally don’t enjoy gummy sweets but I do like candy kittens and this flavour is a delicious sweet strawberry (and vegetarian too).

Overall…

I really enjoyed getting this box and for £1 it was great value. I liked all of the beauty products that came with it and it’s great getting all of your period supplies sent straight to your door. I also really liked the sweets and coffee bag but I wish they had the option every month to pick between tea or coffee. I would definitely buy another Pink Parcel if I saw items that I liked in the box or if they had another great offer.
