🎃 I've been wanting to redraw this official art since halloween last year! (Had it in my tabs for over a year to boot) and I finally did it. A few days late but there you go. I've obviously taken some liberties but ya know if I'm gonna redraw it I get to do it how I want.

Edward's color scheme (red coat, gold/yellow hair and eyes, white and black clothes) is theorized to represent the 4 alchemic stages of the Magnum Opus. In alchemy, the Magnum Opus refers to the process of creating the philosopher's stone. The four stages are: -Nigredo (the blackening) ⚫ -Albedo (the whitening) ⚪ -Citrinitas (the yellowing) 🟡 -Rubedo (the reddening) 🔴
