What if when Hawke was on the run, she found a cave of Tevinter slavers on the coast? And being the upstanding citizen she is, murdered them all brutally and cheerily chanted Fenris’s name all the way. 

She then went through and let the slaves free, but stopped, on the last one. It was a Qunari, but those eyes, pale grey and violet hued, so familiar…

“Varric is going to shit himself.”

“Have you not informed the dwarf of our relationship?”
