Man of Steel 2 Press release and Update: Additional filming in two locations confirmed; Superman suit gets a facelift.

While we learned back in September that Detroit will stand in as Gotham City in the Man of Steel sequel, it was confirmed today that the film will also be filming in Vancouver and Morocco. [x]

On another news, costume designer Michael Wilkinson talked to Cinemamovie about working on the new Batman suit and Wonder Woman’s updated look for the Man of Steel sequel. And in the interview, he mentioned about “tweaking” Superman’s suit. [x]

“We are now in the stage where we’re refining our designs with the last series of camera tests and doing our final tweaks in preparation for shooting,” stated Wilkinson.

Principal photography for Man of Steel 2 is set to begin in February 2014.
