Casting The Comedian and Dr. Manhattan as Batman and Flash’s dads in the DC Extended Universe is fucking genius.
Billy Crudup as Henry Allen is yet another fantastic casting choice for the DCEU.
After playing Dr. Manhattan in the Warner Bros. film “Watchmen,” Billy Crudup is now looking to reunite with the studio on one of their highly anticipated comic book movies.
Sources tell Variety Crudup is in talks to play the father of Barry Allen (aka the Flash) in the upcoming Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment film, which stars Ezra Miller as the title character.
They were both in The Stanford Prison Experiment together (great film) so this would be ideal.
“I am going to look at the stars. They are so far away, and their light takes so long to reach us. All we ever see of stars are their old photographs.”

Heard a joke once: Man goes to doctor. Says he’s depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says, “Treatment is simple. Great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up.” Man bursts into tears. Says, “But doctor…I am Pagliacci.” Watchmen (2009) dir.
