I propose alle/alloj/allen/allojn for gender neutral pronouns from the german ‘alle’ *note: I’m really basic with esperanto, just thought these pronouns sounded nice because they could be used with alle people *excuse the bad german pun
Ha, that could work! Yeah, the thing about introducing new pronouns is it is a pain to get ppl to recognize them widely, & having to work around all of that for an auxlang seems like a bit much for me. But I have seen discussions about coining pronouns to fix it up!
If Esperanto underwent significant fixes wrt both of the gender issues (the weirdly-gendered nouns and the gendered pronouns) and those became very common/standard then I would certainly give it a look, but I think it's... not super probable? If you want to try then I certanly wish you luck!
#euletoaster#also hello!#talking stuff#esperanto*#I think if we're picking between 'auxiliary languages' with obligatory gender systems#like e.g. Esperanto or Interlingua#I would rather learn Spanish.#personally.#or Latin!#Portuguese. Etc.#Does Klingon have obligatory gender? I would at least understand Worf.
