Pampérigouste does this thing where she escapes to the neighbour’s pasture and spends a while grazing by herself, utterly happy and chill (I can see her from my window), like oh finally, some me time away from the kids. But then as soon as I go outside and she sees me, she’ll gaze at her daughter on the other side of the fence, pretending to be alarmed (see above), pretending they have been separated by a mysterious event beyond her control. A tornado maybe.
Pampoldine never ever follows her mother out, what a lawful little llama. Look at her worried little face in the pic below, “I really wish I could stay near my mum but unfortunately we are not allowed on that side of the fence!!!”
Meanwhile Pampe, the world’s first Oscar-winning llama—
“Excuse me? ma’am?? I’m DESPERATE for help my baby is hungry and scared and I can’t reach her? (due to a glitch in YOUR fence that only allows me to scramble over it in one direction.) It’s nice of you to finally show some concern about my problem after two hours??” like I’m an unhelpful hotline operator she’s going to rate 1 star. YOU CHOSE to leave your pasture yet again Pampe what do you want me to do
Look at her annoyed ears, I love her. “I want you to look the other way as I go eat my favourite snack (forbidden grass acquired illegally) then facilitate my return the second my daughter looks hungry. It’s not difficult. Just schedule your whole life around me and my every llama whim. I have a kid now you need to learn to be responsible.”
The kid in question is not traumatised she’s just like yeah sometimes my mum abandons me and I stay with Pyrgus and his mum. I don’t mind. Pyrgus is my best friend he’s talI he likes to play tag”
