do you guys wanna know how tired I am of people only using "cute" and "sunshine" to describe Paul, with a sprinkle of emphasis on his height?

yeah.... cute and sunshine i can somehow live with as these ppl usually mean good by saying that but jokes about his height are pretty lame. Like bullying someone because of the color of your eyes or any trait you have been given by birth.

after being active in this fandom on tumblr since 2017 and seeing the countless times the others have been called handsome or sexy or attractive and the word "cute" is slapped onto Paul in the same breath, or that people full on say "Paul isn't attractive to me but he's cute!" or literally have NOTHING ELSE to say about him except that he's a cute ball of sunshine... I'm just really fed up with it. it's emasculating at this point. if those people need evidence to show how Paul is just as sexy and attractive and handsome as the others here you go

and it's not just that. people reduce him to only these characteristics. his achievements and the multi layered charm to his personality are conveniently swept under the rug with terms like "cute" and "smol". these people don't care enough about Paul half the time to see beyond these terms. it's easier to just throw those words at Paul in a faux way to publicly show support or fondness for him while truly not bothering to appreciate him beyond the superficial level. obviously, this really grinds my gears. I'm definitely taking it too seriously, and I sound like the fun police. but honestly, this reducing of Paul as a person is just never ending. it's different if you appreciate him beyond him being cute, because I do think he's cute, but if that's all you have to say about him, then imma be pissed. rant over lol

I am glad that you are taking it too seriously as ppl do need more “Paul education”. I agree that Paul is often overlooked and not taken seriously. And he has made a lot of effort of confusing ppl with his far too merry facade :) Me and you, we know :) We have studied him well and i think we have to shout louder about his talents and being such a “master of puppets” behind the scenes. 

I’d like to finish with this quote from Flake, which in German made more sense as trouble-maker does not mean here that Paul make trouble for anyone, but he plans the “troubles”/scandals that Rammstein should get into.

Flake 2009:   “Actually Paul is our main trouble-maker. When we’re unsure about something he says: Straightforward. And Paul is a great carriage driver. When we’re becoming a little lazy and give free reins to something, he tightens them and holds the group together.”

On the one hand, I think it is kind unfair to make assumptions about how people view Paul as a whole based on off-hand comments. And I don't think comments on his height are necessarily emasculating. As a shorty myself, I like that he is smol, and still find him the most attractive. I'm this close to calling all of them 'precious babby bois' at any given time like they're all ducklings instead of adult men even though I logically know they're far from innocent.

On the other hand, I've always found comments about Paul being 'sunshine' kinda funny, because he seems to be some kinda mischievous hell imp. A man so obnoxious only Till wanted him in the band, and Schneider was ready to bail just to avoid him.

Certainly a sunshine to the fans, though.
