Flags of Europe showdown!

Let's find out which European flag the people of Tumblr like best!

48 flags are included in Round 1, Round 2 will be 24, Round 3 will be 12, Round 4 (Semifinals) 6 and Round 5 (Finals) will be a showdown between the three remaining flags.

Please note that my decision on what flags to include is not based on any political opinion or motivation, I simply chose internationally recognized nations which are undoubtedly part of Europe*, in such a way that it would result in an even number.

The lineup is entirely random.

Have fun voting and keep in mind that this is all in good fun! This is not about the countries, it's just about the flags!

*i.e.: I took the flags from the Wikipedia entry on the Flags of European sovereign states and excluded Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, as the number 48 was ideal for this tournament and these two countries are most often considered just Asian and not European.
