Hello dear visitor! Welcome to my page, a place where I keep my motivation, my progress and some of my healthy and beauty tips while getting to the healthiest and fittest me! Visually, I am still far from my goal but every day I learn more about health, about working out and get a step closer to where I want to be! It is not about the number on the scales, it is not about the size of my dress and it is not about the amount of calories I eat - although these are quite good motivators as well. It is about being healthy. It is about feeling confident. And most importantly it is about being HAPPY! SUNDAY LAZY WORKOUT! To read right after you wake up!

OK, I know it's a weekend tomorrow but it doesn't mean that you have to behave like a lazy ass! However, you could go for the "lazy workout" option. First, we need to start your engine by circulating a good amount of oxygen through the body and, most importantly, through the brain. To do so, we will make this simple breathing variation of exercise that is often used in yoga (works really hard on your abs too!)

  • Without getting out of bed, stretch all of your body reaching the top of your bed. Think positively, think that today is a new day, you're young, beautiful and happy! Yes, YOU ARE HAPPY
  • Now, after your awesome stretch, put your arms along the body and bent your knees. Relax your body. Slowly take a deep breath in and breathe out slowly making sure you get all of the oxygen out of your lungs. 
  • As you start breathing out, flex your abdominal muscles and tuck your tummy in as hard as you can. Stop the breathing at this point, you shouldn't have any oxygen left in your lungs. Fix this position for 10-15 seconds then take a small breath in and tuck the stomach in a little more. 
  • Repeat this step (small breath in, tuck in, fix for 10-15 seconds) 2 more times. 
  • Now breathe out as hard as you can (would help if you make a sounds as you breathe out to make sure you do it right). Relax your muscles and take a couple of deep and slow breath in and out. 
  • Now repeat the whole thing a couple of times without taking the small breath-ins. 

Breathing all right? I know this might be weird for some of you who do it for the first time but, oh boy, your body adores you right now! OK, let's move on

  • Sit up now, stretch your legs and try and reach both of your legs first, then reach each at a time. 
  • Sit to the side of your bed, stretch your arms long and high towards the ceiling
  • TIME TO GET UP and do some SIDE BENDS! See picture for more info! 30 times to the left and 30 times to the right
  • SQUATS! Even if it's Sunday - we shall not forget about our juicy butt! 50 times will be enough for a weekend day ;) 
  • FINALLY - Push-ups! I know, I know, we all hate them! But when you grow old, you and your husband will certainly be thankful for not having to look for your nipple somewhere around your knees - you know what I'm talking about ;) Do as many as you can but do them! If you're weak like me, do the simplified lady version of the push-up by standing on your knees!

YOU'RE DONE! Aren't you proud of yourself? Now go and have a large glass of ice cold water with lemon to give a grande finale boost for your body! Your body will have to spend a lot of calories to warm this cold water and lemon boost your metabolism like no other!
