A Triassic lungfish tooth plate, likely an Arganodus atlantis or Ceratodus arganensis from the Argana Group in the Argana Basin of Morocco. Arganodus has sometimes been synonomized with the genus Asiatoceratodus. This specimen comes from a very old French collection from the 1960s and unfortunately lacks detailed locale information.

How could a planet that always faces its star with one side look like?

I've been of an always frozen land where almost every species is sentient and where neither day nor night existe. But they have a 'moon' that is really good at reflecting, so it seems looks a big star that always stays on one place.

There are no oceans. Only a big, frozen land where nothing can thrive. But! Once you reache the 'border', tge ice will become liquide and the sky will be lit with the everlasting 'sunrise'.

I have little knowledge of how compatible this consept would be with geography. Many thing could be alien/magic stuff, but I want to know how it could be from a scientific point of view.

The fact that Antarctica is a whole ass continent which had diverse ecosystems for hundreds of millions of years and is now a barren expanse of ice never ceases to freak me out.

So I recently saw a video where a wild dolphin comes out of the ocean and gives a human a fish. I did some googling and found out that it’s one of those fish the dolphins use to get high. So this stoned ass dolphin is like “wouldnt it be funny if I passed the blunt to those weird lane dudes?” And went and did it.

Anyway if someone told you a dolphin came out of the ocean and handed you a fish, they’d never fucking believe you. Like it’s lucky this guy got it on video. Imagine if this happened in ancient times.
