I have a lot of ideas for the kids at bible camp and their parents and lifes so I will make a post for each family. First up there's single dad Francis with his sons Alfred and Matthew.
Francis Bonnefoy: His wife and mother of his kids passed away a few years ago and he couldn't stay in their house, so he moved to a small village and became a member of the church community fairly quickly. He needed someone to talk about his grief and was welcomed by everyone immediately. It took him a long time but Francis is trying to go out more again and spend time with friends he made here. Therefore he's happy about the afternoons he got to himself, when the twins are with their peers and the new youth pastor.
Alfred and Matthew: After their mother died when they were 7 and they moved to a new place where they didn't know anyone, both Alfred and Matthew were forced to somehow acclimate to their new home. Alfred quickly made friends at school who invited him to join the youth group. He dragged Matthew along under the pretense of wanting him to make friends too, but actually he wanted his brother to be there so he wouldn't be nevous alone around so many new people. Matthew enjoyed the time more than expected and gladly accompanied Alfred whenever he went to the weekly meet-ups.
